2nd to last in blitzing yet lead the league in sacks.
Just wait till guys get their wind. This should scare other teams:

In general, this should be a easy win. Hopefully we see Mitch play well for a complete game.

Kyle Long is playing well but off field pics of him show an aged and older Kyle. He looks fat and beat up. Not sure how much time he has left playing at his current level.

The bears handled his injuries in just an awful way the last few years.

The moment he injured his shoulder he should have been shut down. He was never going to shut himself down, but pace should have been smarter about it. Then he needed up hurting his ankle likely compensating for his shoulder.

Ran into him in Lake Forest during preseason this year. He's in amazing shape, anyone saying he's fat or out of shape is misinformed.

He did look a bit beat up though.

Week 3 - Bears @ Cardinals

Post#6 » by transplant » Fri Sep 21, 2018 5:43 pm

Winning a NFL game is hard. Winning one on the road is harder.

Yeah, I know that the Cards haven’t played well the first 2 weeks, but they have some very talented players and were 8-8 last season. Besides, the first few weeks of every NFL season are notoriously unreliable predictors.

Like most fans, I expect the Bears D to win the battle against the Cards O. Beyond that, I’m not sure of much.

When Janikowski kicked that FG just before halftime on Monday, I said to myself, Dammit, nothin’s ever easy. I don’t expect this one to be easy either.

Go Bears.

Cards are known for exotic bliztes. Bears need to stay ahead of the sticks or risk playing into the Cards strengths.

Yeah, this ought to be a Jordan Howard game. I’m just not sure that this would be satisfying to Nagy. Hope I’m wrong.

Well that seems like a dumb method to solely rely on. Anyone who has seen Kyle will tell you: he is not overweight at all, he's still getting back to his pre-surgery play weight.

The beat-up part might be accurate though, definitely durability concerns for Long. But no concerns on his fitness lmbao.

Hit a sensitive spot?

I made a comment about his physical appearance.

Relax Kyle. We love you buddy. Its still all love even though you're no longer the young pup

Cards have a weakened LB core. So where normally running multiple TE sets would stunt the run game here it may actually work. Also the cards match up poorly in the secondary so this would be a good opportunity for Mitch to go vertical on them with A.Rob, Gabriel and Miller which also would open things up for Howard.

I mentioned earlier that you shouldn’t put much stock in the first few weeks of the NFL season. Just noticed that the lowly Bills are beating the Vikings like a well-tuned drum at Minny. Crazy ****.

Just an awful start here. 2 wide open receivers.

Mitch and the offense needs to come in and erase this lead right away.

Of course this team comes out looking awful at every level.

Such a big opportunity to gain leverage in the division too.
