This reminds of the 2006 ALDS. The "historic" Yankee offense gets shut down at the first sign of trouble. I expect more of the same this year.

If the Yankees do anything in the playoffs, it will be because of their pitching. That being said, our pitching isn't good.

play a real team, and lose

how surprising

this team is still a pretender, as will be proven by this and the LAA series

U guys back down on ur team 2 easily we have been on a 25-10*include makeups and stuff* streak after the break.

This team is gonna lose games but that dont mean they wont be a playoff team. We have been doubted all year long but look were we r now. We r just behind the other teams by a lil.

Why give up on this team now, mind as well not even be a Yankee fan, if u expect this team 2 lead the division year after year, its baseball we r gonna win some and lose some.

But its da Yankees and u guys r prolly adapted 2 da Yankees winnin the divsion year after year and make the playoffs easy, thats not how it is this year. The Yankees have 2 play their hearts out if they actaully wanna make noise and that is what they r gonna do.

Just dont give up on this team after a few losses..

Looking at the pitching matchups, I see no reason we shouldn't take at least 2 of the next 3 here. It would definitely be a blow losing 3 of 4 at home to the Tigers at this point.

Look at who we were playing. Its been the same way for years. We could beat up on bad pitching but when we faced good teams our bats went silent. And it always comes back to the fact that outside of Jeter, Posada, Matsui....sometimes Giambi and Melky we just dont have guys that ''know'' how to get it done.
