The Bengals waived him off of injured reserve, meaning that it's somehow possible that a torn ACL that takes two years of recovery time was actually worse. Or his rehab wasn't going great.
Whatever. It was a questionable pick at the time, and now he'll likely never play football again. Sad, but there you go.
