Oh I doubt any of us seriously thought the Broncos could go from #21 to #2 to get one of the rare surefire picks in Calvin Johnson. It is good to know that the Broncos are a team that will always be involved when players of this caliber are up in the air.

Ya, if we want Carricker we will have to trade up.

I've been hearing rumblings from BroncosFreak that we have a deal inplace to move up to #10. Only if Okoye, Landry or Adams drop to 10 I like this deal.

I guess Shannahan is trying to prove that last year's draft was an aberration. Our first round picks always suck (sans Cutler and Williams). We gave up way too much for a guy that would have been there anyway. Boo to that pick.

I really thought we was going to take Ryan Kalil with pick 56.

All in all.. its a good draft for the Broncos... 2 Defensive ends in the 1st 2 rounds (Jarvis Moss, Tim Crowder) with a solid Offensive Tackle in the 3rd Ryan Harris (very athletic) i think Titans could have possibly took Moss if we didnt trade up.. but I wish we could have kept that late 3rd.. Jarvis Moss is a beast though..

Before getting kicked off that Florida team for marijuana use, Marcus Thomas was a top 10 pick. Reading his interview after being drafted it sounds like he's claned up his act.

Moss also said he was the bets player on their D-Line and that's saying something, they had a top 5 D-Line last year.

I don't really like the trade up to get Moss, but we'll see I suppose. Gambling on Thomas is a good move, if he's cleaned up his act, there's a high reward. If he hasn't, we just move on.
