Lakers putting up a good fight against the Heat so far.

I do not approve.

You're really showing your disapproval, Mr. E.

Waiting for Magic Mamba to turn into MJ Mamba. I know this Magic Johnson mode will not go very long.

Indeed. I nearly lost my temper there. I apologize.

That said, I find the ending to that game satisfactory.

Westbrook beats out Harden for Western Conference Player of the Week despite far inferior stats. Yeah the Thunder were 4-0 while the Rockets were 2-2 but that's still ridiculous.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

Dancing already buddies! Portland had 59 pts with 1 minute to go ~ game was over. Empty stadium cheering for the Hornets as they lit the fuse that will begin the 2nd year in a row that Portland blows up their roster.

i think i know why westbrook has anger problems. its cause of the clothes he's forced to wear. knowing he has to go out in public with those clothes pisses him off. doesnt look like he can take much more.

Yeah, I don't think I have seen a team with a bench that is worse than the Blazer's in the recent years. Meyers Leonard is their best bench player who's averaging 4.2 ppg and 3.1 rpg. Almost everyone on that bench shoots less than 40%. They need a 6th man who gets take away some minutes the starters. Otherwise, I think they're gonna run out of gas during the playoff hunt.

I think Portland's bench scores 9-10 less PPG than the second worst bench in the NBA. That has GOT to be some sort of record for suckiness, right?

I'm reading some data off Hoopsstats.com, where they have bench production data since'97-'98. I did find something interesting:

In 2004-05, Phoenix bench had the lowest scoring with 17.5 ppg with 10.9 mpg but they shot 45.9% which was the best in the league that season.

The current Blazers bench are on the pace of having the worst shitzasterous offensive season since '97-'98, averaging 16.9 ppg while shooting 38% FG and 28% 3PT in 13.3 mpg. You're right. The 2nd worst is Indiana and they score 8.6 ppg more than the Blazers.

Blazers' 38% FG is also the 2nd worst among all benches since '97-'98 (Bulls '98-'99 shot 36.7% while averaging 24.6 ppg in 16.9 mpg).

Another interesting note is that the Rockets bench had the worst PPG in '06-'07.
