This is not necessarily a bad thing for him at this stage IMO. His ability to thread the needle won't go away. When he gets to do his thing, the triple threat he originally had (get everyone involved, thread the needle and finish) would still be there but he will also be able to do the small things better in addition to a better stand still shot and being less turnover prone. On the other hand, he would really need to get his midrange back tho, also the floater/teardrop he rarely uses now. We shall see, maybe after Sampson's gone his situation changes, or maybe there'll be a different coach next season? Blood bath between two lameduck coaches in the first round:
