Mr. E's Halftime thoughts -

Not the game we were all expecting this time last night, but when it comes to the Spurs there are many instances in the NBA where I might take their bench over other team's starters. That said, they really do have a lot of guys out tonight and I believe that Houston took them lightly in the first, hence the close score at that time. They opened things up in the second half.

Loving what I'm seeing from Harden & Dwight as a unit. Dwight has been a terror for the Spurs in the first half, and I'm wondering how much of the second half we'll see him and the Beard play. You can't sit them too early, because we're not showing the ability to put teams away with only our bench players. I do hope to see their minutes dwindle as the night goes on and that the other guys get a chance to log some long minutes.

Now, hell must have frozen over because I'm hearing Shaq defend Dwight voraciously! :lol:

Bring on the second half!
