Re: Realistic Trade/FA Targets
are the rockets making the same mistake they did during the off season
spending all the energy and time chasing someone that at the end we dont get, and that kept us from getting other nice players and get better
im worried

Re: Realistic Trade/FA Targets
Now is when everyone starts jumping at shadows as the trade deadline approaches.
I keep having to remind myself that anyone not named Howard or Harden could very well not be here on Friday. Some are more unlikely to be moved than others (Motiejunas, Ariza, Smith); but until the dust settles after the trade deadline it is best not to be too attached.

Ty Lawson!
Cheaper and locked up when dragic can dart when upchuck and the lakers try to save face and fulfill their promise of contention in 3 years by offering the max to him

i know
Dragic may not re-sign
i hear Morey is offering two 2nd round picks (NY and Minnesota) for Dragic
he is keeping the NOP pick
problem is Lawson has been ball dominated PG
i don't know how he will play without the ball
at least for Dragic he can play off the ball (he mainly playing as SG in PHX)

Larry Sanders would be a God send if we were to sign him after the Bucks release him.

he is still suspended, so even after a buyout, he still has to be reinstated by the league.

i get the feeling that the rockets aren't offering much for dragic which is why the suns are unlikely to trade him to us.

Still would be a potentially dream acquisition.
Now that Dragic is coming, I imagine Morey is going to secure another big man. Sanders would be amazing.

Let's not talk about Dragic like it's a done deal.
I'm curious to hear what the Suns say after their meeting with his team today.

C'mon... I'm going to be very optimistic for the next couple days.
Rockets are getting Dragic and Sanders!

Channing Frye would obviously be a strong fit.

Larry Sanders sounds like he is a mess these days.

He definitely is. I guess he's no longer interested in playing ball, which is too bad. Maybe a change of teams would help but I guess he might not be worth the risk.
I'm back to thinking Dragic/Plumlee

Re: Realistic Trade/FA Targets
Is there any fanbase less productive around the trade deadline than the Rockets? Morey has us all conditioned to believe that something will happen and it's a non-stop F5 refresh on message boards & rumor sites all the way until the deadline passes.

Re: Realistic Trade/FA Targets
Utah wants 1st rounder and young player for Kanter
Phoenix wants all-star potential player for Dragic
easy
Houston send future first round pick and Capela (20 years old) to Utah for Kanter
Houston send Kanter (former 3rd pick, sure has potential to be future all-star) to Phoenix for Dragic

Re: Realistic Trade/FA Targets
i doubt now that morey offered the NOP or tjones to the suns, thus, i don't see a deal happening for dragic. time to move on. i think they will go after lawson. dont see dmo going anywhere either.

Does sound like Dragic wants BIG $$$ and I'm not confident Morey can risk the assets to trade, only to see him walk in a few months.
I'm still hopeful until the deadline has passed.
