The Clint Capela Show

Post#1 » by Vator » Tue Mar 31, 2015 9:38 pm

This young man has a freaky combination of length and athleticism. He will be very good if he keeps working on his game and body.

In his first real action, he posted 8 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 blocks in 19 minutes of action. All 8 points consisted of 4 highlight reel worthy dunks. In case you missed it. Credit to Clutch and CF for the videos.

I'm expecting him to be a key contributor much sooner now than I did before.

that's his only offense now (close to the basket)
after few dunks they adjust their defense and left those players open for 3
too bad they missed them
next year he better improve his shooting and of course get stronger

Dude obviously needs to hit his FTs but overall his last outing was very impressive. I loved his aggressiveness.

The next time a defense is forced to make an adjustment for Joey Dorsey will be the first time. :)

Jones, Motiejunas & now Capela... i'm loving our bigs.

I tuned into the Raptors feed for a bit, and there announcers were loving the Capela show too. They likened him to Rudy Gobert :o
Capela doesnt have Gobert's size but I can see where they are coming from.

Despite his appearance this guy was physical all night with JV.

He looked great out there. I wonder if Josh Smith is too expensive in the off-season, we can get Clint in the rotation as a 15-20 MPG PF off the bench.

joey Dorsey is like Rick Barry compared to Capela at the line.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

He have good genetics for basketball. Could be star or bust, too early to say anything about his future.
p.s. if Dmo would have longer arms, like Capela, and body proportions, he would be superstar in this league.

if dmo has longer arm and as athletic as capela he won't end up as 20th pick

Clint's averages over the last 10 games:

5.3 points
4.7 rebounds
1.3 blocks
74% shooting

Pretty impressive.

Dude should have a real good opportunity to play well against Golden State.
