Based on what?
You don't have to draft a HOF player later for it to be a "steal". A steal is a player that produces a much higher than expected return.

Tanking is terrible. It is disgraceful.
By the way - I'd like to remind everyone to go check out the first place Houston Astros and their amazing farm system!

I'm off to youtube...
What was the reason Kawhi slipped in the draft?
... and I said "nearly". Dekker isn't likely to be a lockdown defender like Leonard but will absolutely surprise on the upside offensively.

Mike Finley #1, Devin Harris #2, Wes Matthews Sr #3.
Hope you are right. So Ariza will be expendable.

I'll just settle for him being the second best Sconnie playing some form of pro ball in Houston for now!

Can Watt play point guard?

Houston Rockets first-round pick, forward Sam Dekker, has reached an agreement with the team on a four-year, $8-million contract. Dekker's agent, Mark Bartelstein, said he expects Dekker to sign the contract today.
Dekker, the 18th pick of the NBA draft, averaged 13.9 points and shot 52.6 percent from the field during his junior season at Wisconsin. In six NCAA tournament games, Dekker, averaged 19.2 points and was named the West Region's Most Outstanding Player.
The Rockets drafted him for his ability to finish on drives to the basket and an improving outside shot. Dekker, 6-foot-9, 230 pounds, is the first of the two draft picks to reach contract terms with the Rockets.
Second-round pick, power forward Montrezl Harrell from Louisville, remains unsigned.
Harrell and Dekker will participate with the Rockets summer league team in Las Vegas next week.
