A classic Lion is hanging it up fellas. Give the man some props for kicking for this franchise for 21 years. And is Akers the man to replace him?

Props to Hanson- the best Lions kicker of all time and one of e best in NFL histoy!!

Not to mention, one of the Lions' best ST tacklers to boot!

The Detroit Lions have added kicker David Akers one day after Jason Hanson retired.
