He has no upside whatsoever and I see absolutely no reason to waste a roster spot on him next year. Accept the sunk cost and move on.

Doubt hes realistically tradeable at all. Maybe a 6 or 7.

The only thing Love has showed is that our front office had to be collectively drunk off their asses when they drafted him.

Oh, you still want to do this?

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

In his 3rd year Favre completed 60%, threw 19 TDs and 24 INTs.

I mean, he might be but the relationship seems better now and I certainly wouldn't just be like yeah, bye Rodgers, hello Love. We would be **** stupid to just say **** it and trade Rodgers without doing everything we can to keep him.

Id rather see Rodgers throw it. Leave the trick plays to the Bears and Lions.
Number 1 offense by DVOA in back to back years and we're complaining about not having enough trick plays

To this point Antuan Edwards and Ahmad Carroll were both drafted one spot higher than Jordan Love. Overall, you trade him for whatever/keep him for cap reasons and extend Rodgers for whatever he wants. The mistake on first round draft picks isn't missing on them it’s spending too long thinking they are the answer (see baker mayfield)
ReasonablySober wrote:MikeIsGood wrote:If we were the Lions, BTW, our board would be in absolute meltdown mode losing the #1 pick like that
The thing is not really? The top of the draft doesn't have a great #1 overall. They'll take Thibodeaux, Hutchinson, or reach for a QB. I can't remember a draft like this where the top pick mattered less.

Rodgers was drafted #24 overall and Brett Favre was SI's sportsman of the year in Rodgers' 3rd year. Rodgers didn't become a full time starter until he was 25 and then he went 6-11.
We can chill on this.
