He has no upside whatsoever and I see absolutely no reason to waste a roster spot on him next year. Accept the sunk cost and move on.

Doubt hes realistically tradeable at all. Maybe a 6 or 7.

I think you could get an early day 3 pick. Based on nothing at all other than teams are desperate even for lotto tickets at QB. But at this point the organization needs to pray Rodgers signs a massive extension and they are able to dump Love and move on.

The only thing Love has showed is that our front office had to be collectively drunk off their asses when they drafted him.

In his 3rd year Favre completed 60%, threw 19 TDs and 24 INTs.

The early returns on Love aren't great, but I'm good on at least giving him a season with the #1s. If he sucks, take his replacement with one of the picks you get from trading Rodgers.

Love didn't move the needle in any direction today for me.

On that note - GB should do everything possible to bring Rodgers back.

Trade Rodgers and give Love the reins.

Yeah, some are going overboard. I watched Rodgers in-person on family night during his second year and he looked lost. He looked that way until his 3rd year with a good game vs Dallas. Rodgers first two years he was 17/33 with no tds and one int. When he finally had a good game vs the Cowboys (3rd year), Rodgers broke his ankle and was immediately seen as Mr. Glass. Thanks to covid Love didn't even really have a rookie season and already looks better than Rodgers did in his second year....which isn't saying much.

I'm not impressed, but I'm not going to write him off yet.

I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I mean, he might be but the relationship seems better now and I certainly wouldn't just be like yeah, bye Rodgers, hello Love. We would be **** stupid to just say **** it and trade Rodgers without doing everything we can to keep him.

Yea, they'll try to keep him. Everything they've done over the last year has been in an effort to show him how much he's loved in GB. I just don't think it matters at all and he'll want out.

Id rather see Rodgers throw it. Leave the trick plays to the Bears and Lions.

Number 1 offense by DVOA in back to back years and we're complaining about not having enough trick plays

Not complaining, just thought it’d be fun. Football is supposed to be fun. I will agree preemptively though that yes winning is the most fun of all.

To this point Antuan Edwards and Ahmad Carroll were both drafted one spot higher than Jordan Love. Overall, you trade him for whatever/keep him for cap reasons and extend Rodgers for whatever he wants. The mistake on first round draft picks isn't missing on them it’s spending too long thinking they are the answer (see baker mayfield)

Rodgers was drafted #24 overall and Brett Favre was SI's sportsman of the year in Rodgers' 3rd year. Rodgers didn't become a full time starter until he was 25 and then he went 6-11.

We can chill on this.

The thing is not really? The top of the draft doesn't have a great #1 overall. They'll take Thibodeaux, Hutchinson, or reach for a QB. I can't remember a draft like this where the top pick mattered less.

I get that it’s a year without much impact, but it takes the power out of their hands. They’ll still work everyone out, and they may find the guy they like best is the same guy Jacksonville takes. That’s a rough trade off vs a Week 18 win against a team sitting the MVP in the second half.

Sure, but Rodgers isn't normal. I'd say you're better drawing comparisons to other qb's not one of the greatest to ever do it.
