Added Puka right before week one when I moved an out player to the IR. My team is not very good though lol. Being in dynasty helps in redraft leagues.

Is Mattison (Vikings) worth keeping or would you try to dump him off?

I'd try to trade him, and he's certainly worth being on a roster right now, but yeah, long term prospects not great bob. After seeing what Deandre Swift did to the Vikings run defense last night, that makes the Rachaad White situation look a whole lot different. It looks like White may just kind of suck, which is why I'd stash Sean Tucker. He might have that volume job by week 4.

I'd kick the tires on Javonte Williams, Roschon Johnson, Brian Robinson, or Tyler Allgeier and see if you can get something done in trade.

Plus I have Ekeler's handcuff on my bench.

Post trade roster would look like:
Spoiler:
QB - Allen
WR - Diggs
WR - Olave
RB - Mattison
RB - Gainwell
TE - Kincaid
FLEX - Lockett

BN - (Kamara)
BN - London
BN - JSN
BN - K. Herbert
BN - Kelley
BN - Doubs
BN - Kyren

Think that RB situation is waaaaaay too dicey. I don't trust Mattison to hang onto the top spot in that backfield all year, think Gainwell already lost his, and then you've got Kamara whom I like a lot, but yeah, that's not great.

Would have required some follow-up moves, but yeah I hear ya. Hope I don't end up kicking myself, as he pulled the offer when Ekeler didn't practice today. Could have rolled heavy with Diggs/Kelley in my lineup this week and then figured out week 3. Lots of lotto ticket backs to take shots on yet. I am more balanced standing pat, though.

Don't focus on the next two weeks. Season is more than just this one week without Ekeler. Too many people make this mistake. I often build great teams by drafting players with tweaked ankles or hamstrings because I believe by the end of the year they will be available and playing at a peak level. Doesn't always work, but it works more often than not.

I am 1-0 and have JT/Kupp still to comeback. Maybe they don't, but if they do I am stacked.

If Cwat sits again, would you start Doubs or Tutu Atwell? It’s a 16 team league so rosters are thin..

I’d probably start Doubs even if Watson is playing

I think Doubs, Reed and Musgrave all probably feast. And no, I don’t really like anyone against SF.

I would go Thomas. Carr has a twinkle in his eye for him. Doubs is a very solid option as well, though-- I'm flexing him in my league where I have no better options.

My gut feeling says Thomas but Doubs is gonna be a solid option all season. I wouldn’t trust Dj Moore at all as anything more than a bye week filler. He’s gonna have a few good games but they’re gonna be inconsistent and hard to predict even against juicy matchups. Bears passing attack is gonna be trash until they get a qb that can pass.

I do agree with this, generally. The reason I was considering it was multi-faceted. Obviously, it pays dividends immediately as Ekeler is out, but it also gives me Josh Allen his undisputed #1 target, which is nice in a PPR format. It would be a hodgepodge at RB for me, but someone likely becomes available to empty the clip on a la Kenneth Walker last year. I picked 5th and had Ekeler/Diggs/Bijan all in heavy consideration.

Couldn’t figure out who to drop for Kelley so I dropped my Kkicker just to secure him. Now I have to pay Paul. I still need a kicker and the candidates are D.Cook, Akers, Elijah Moore, or Nico Collins. I have JT sitting in my IR slot and completely thought I had another available…so now I need to drop someone. Any thoughts? Full ppr.

If those are the cut candidates who are the starters? In a vacuum I’m probably cutting Cook or Nico

Anyone who drafted Ekeler and didn't take Kelley just doesn't understand FF 101. I always draft a RB who I think has a good backup and will often overdraft the backup if I need to, especially if it's my first back drafted.

However, wishing for someone to be injured for longer so your pretend FF team wins has always been weird.

Khalil Herbert or Tyler Allgier? Half PPR.

My strategy of DJ Moore and Herbert actually being decent this year isn't paying off so far.

Appreciate the possible kind words. I hate my bench…but I’m afraid to lose them. Picked up Nico after dropping Kincaid for Gibson and subsequently dropping Gibson. I don’t trust any of the to NOT get me <5pts. I do think my starters are top notch but I got a pretty **** grade from Yahoo.

Note: DaVonta was my keeper from last year and cost me a 7th to keep

QB:Lamar
RB1/2:Ekeler/Bijan*
WR1/2:DK/D.Smith
TE:Hoch
W/T:Pickens
W/R:Pacheco
W/R/T:Doubs
IR:JT

*(had the turn at the end and ran to the podium for this set

Keepers were set prior to draft order and the guy that got 1:1 had set to keep Diggs. Keepers cost an extra round from the round they were originally drafted. So he picked Diggs in 2nd around and was positioned for it to cost him a first this year. 1st mistake out of the gate. Ouch. Set the whole first round up for a really weird playout. I generally cringe at the hype rookie RB of a given year, but the drop off seemed huge after those.

You have more faith in Akers than Cook? Those would be my top2 chopping block.
