Lots of negatives but all wins count the same. Ugly wins >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ugly losses.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I know we were all chitting ourselves before that kick. This one felt like a crazy close NFC championship game with us coming out on top for once.

Has Watson ever returned kicks? I say we find a way to get him out there more.

Even though Doubs didn't complete the long TD catch to win it, that play scared the Pats CBs. That's probably why they were playing so far off on the final drive when AR kept throwing to Doubs for those 8-yard gains.

Again, I have to remind myself to be patient with the offense. Oline and receiving corps are works in progress.

Gotta give MLF/Rodgers time to figure some stuff out. Then I can judge them lol

Also good to see Rodgers recovering after a stupid turnover for once. He was pretty damn good after a terrible 1st half, clutch too. Huge for Crosby to close it out once again too, seemed like it meant a lot to him.

Defense came up clutch at the end as well, can't forget that either.

W is a W. As long as we're there towards the end of the year that's all that matters. This is a ramp up team with the youth on O. We were a ramp up team the year we won the SB.

Agree with this

I don't care if it's a third string QB. After they scored their last touchdown, I felt like they had no chance to score any more points. Haven't felt like that in a minute about a defense, hell, I never even felt that during our Super Bowl run. I don't care who you play, 39 points over three weeks to give up is nothing to turn your nose up at.

And on this day, dozens of New England high school garage bands decided to name themselves "Bailey Zappe".

Hate to burst anyone's bubble but this team ain't winning chit.

Run defense still looks awful even when we know the opposing team will run it 90% of the time and we don't have to worry about them passing the ball, we still make terrible mistakes every time we have a chance to pull away and unless our opponents beat themselves we can't blow anyone out. Seems like we win close games like this one in the regular season almost all the time but also lose every single one of them in the playoffs.

So unless we start blowing out mediocre/bad teams consistently and find a way to comfortably close out at least one contender after a hot start I'm not getting my hopes up. We're gonna need that generational Brady luck to win the Super Bowl this season with the way things are going imo, even accounting for all the best case scenario improvements and perfect health.

Some big trade(s) or another few practice squad gems like Rasul or Cambell could obviously change things but I'm not counting on lighting striking twice

I do badly hope you are right but I honestly don't see it. Not after the way we screwed up a perfect path to another Super Bowl last season and the way we keep making the same mistakes that plagued us during the regular season last year resulting in that meltdown against the Niners. Oh yeah, we also have less offensive firepower this season.

Yup, frees up my weekends. If the Bucks don't play well their first few games I'll write them off too, even if they've won 75% of them.

Special teams havent been anywhere near what they were and the defense will get stronger than it is now, which has been impressive over the last 3.

Return to Green Bay Packers
