They also demanded to start with the ball on the left hashmark after the first touchback. Some really wild, outside the box kinda stuff.

Chryst is known for innovating offense.
He was way back when he was the OC. Wtf happened to the guy

I suspect it's nothing much different. It's just that:

1) Back then, we had much better players - most notably on the line and at QB - to make our style work.

2) Back then, running different jet sweep looks was "innovative," whereas now if that's all you do it's very unironically so 2009.

Did not think we would win the game , I was hoping that we would at the very least competitive. NOT !! Just over matched everywhere. Run run pass is the best the offense can do , really disappointed in the defence . They are just getting blown off the ball and the tackling is atrocious.

It wasn't the left arm Herbstreit you dip **** homer. It was his right arm raking Bell's arm before the ball got there.

TD if Mertz doesn't underthrow it by 5 yards.

Too much air on that one. Throw that on a line and that's a td.

Bell just flat dropped a dime for a TD. The safety was half a step late.

Sadly, Mertz is the best player on our team

After seeing the replay , yeah let the ball play him and he dropped it. Not that we would win the game but you just have to make that catch !

As bad as everybody has been, the biggest choke job tonight is by the punter

We can blame Mertz all we want but the guy may be the 2nd best player on offense.

I think Chryst showed signs of being garbage when he was here the first time, the talent just covered his ass better. I was happy when he left, and I’ll be happy when he’s gone again.

Stroud is staring down his first read every pass and they still can't stop it

Softest of coverage on third and four. Herbsteit bemoaning the fact that they don't have their top receiver is just making me sick ! They have four more five star receivers as back ups !
