That's beautiful alliteration and you know it.

I feel like you spent the whole 2nd half coming up with the title.

I respect that.

Tought loss. I'm not going to freak out, but a few things:

*Capers did a terrible job of managing the D, but at the same time the personel is the real problem. Watching Brad Jones and Erik Walden just CLUELESS on that long Kaepernick TD run was awful. Those guys are NOT NFL caliber players, but are playing for us thanks to injuries to Perry / Smith / Bishop.

*Don't understand pulling Cobb from return duty in the playoffs for a street FA. That muffed punt just killed us.

*John Kuhn is ****!ng terrible. Seriously - I understand the guy has a cool last name and we all love to say it when we're hammered drunk at a Packer game, but come on. Can't catch, run, or block - and makes $2 mil / year.

*Going into next year with Newhouse / EDS at LT and C would be an absolute crime to Aaron Rodgers. IMO, these are the two most important positions along the O-line, and we've got to improve there. Specifically at center. I still have hope Sherrod can come back next year and play well.

*Tramon Williams = big drop off this year. Just totally unable to cover anyone.

Going to be an interesting off-season in packer land....

Walden, Driver, Tramon, Ross, Kuhn, Woodson, and Capers, gtfo.

Honestly took about three minutes. I had the first part right away but only three word alliteration is lame so I needed a couple minutes to come up with more.

Capers should have been more scrutinized after last season. That "worst defense ever" thing wasn't a fluke. They were just really pathetic against the basics of defending a running QB.

Also think that losing Philbin might have hurt this team more than people think. The offense was never really the same as last year.

Injuries to Bishop and Perry hurt badly. The Packers need more bodies at LB.

Also need to look at picking up a WR and improving DBs through the draft.

Capers needs to go. We're giving up records for futility on defense, just absolutely pathetic,

To be honest this is incredibly ominous, I think if GB played SF 10 times they would lose 10 times, this is an ultra soft finesse team and I think SF will own them for years.

Get rid of capers, go back to the 4-3 and put Perry in his natural position and get another good end. I would also like to see the following to go along with Capers: Hawk, Walden, Finley, Williams, Jones, Kuhn. And maybe get some good free agents in here along with some good picks.

May be overambitious thinking on my part but if we had a better defense, I think we may on a path to a third straight Super Bowl.

Hopefully we can find a way to figure out that side of the ball so we can get another title or two while Rodgers is in his prime. Really don't want to waste talent like that.

I really hope TT shakes up the roster.

Not a bad season. We had some great games. @Houston was my favorite

Just realized a glaring omission, AJ "Unfrozen human-like specimen from the paleolithic era moonlighting as an ineffective, soft linebacker for the Green Bay Packers" Hawk. He too may gtfo.

While I won't go that far on the 10 out of 10. Niners were clearly too physical for Green Bay the second half.

4-3 would be stupid

our best player on defense is Clay, he is a 3-4 LBer.

just get a competent DC

I like the Romeo Crennell idea

Really though, how much talent is there on that side of the ball?

Lost to the better team, saw it in week 1 and against today. Sucks to get blown out again in another divisional playoff game, following the Badgers example.

Why go to a 4-3? SF runs a 3-4, they won a a SB with the 3-4, just need better players...Perry was improving weekly at the OLB spot.

Classic Packers defense. Many teams wonder if they will ever find a good QB. I wonder will the Packers ever have a average defense that doesnt get torched or give up NFl records in every big game.

Such a waste of Rodgers. Out coached out played. We got man handled again.

Im not someone to put all the blame on one person and maybe this is what I am doing but I am sick of Capers. I am sick of every player on defense. I wish Tramon would get cut tonight. Such a punk. Just the way he acts and carries his self on the field.

actually I think they have some very good coaches on defense who could replace capers...Joe Whitt, Perry, a number of guys. I also wouldn't be opposed to bringing in someone.

Return to Green Bay Packers
