I gave it a D. Besides Cobb all scrubs. Had to pay a #1 pick that never played. What a horrible draft.

2010 draft gets an F

2011 draft gets a D

Fantastic logic...

This was probably Ted's worst draft but it barely gets a passing grade because of Cobb. DJ Smith was solid when Bishop went down. House is a good depth corner, and Taylor is a good ST guy to have. Other than that, this wasn't too pretty.

Ugh. Why did you have to quote him. Now I have to see his illogical comment.

D-- Terrible draft.

Yea Ted landed Cobb in it, but most teams will land at least a player as good as Cobb in a given draft, along with others of value. The one caveat being that Sherrod suffered a bad injury and thus we'll never know exactly if he could have become a player worth a first round pick.

Agreed, I don't believe you can give a pass for injuries since they are a huge part of the game and everyone has them. This draft was pretty much a disaster.

I'd give it somewhere in the vicinity of a D unless Sherrod turns out into something.

Cobb was an A pick, House was a C+, there were a handful of C-/D+ depth guys, and several Fs.

Who we missed: (assuming we aren't looking at QB like Kaepernick, and looking in that area of drafting)

#32 - Derek Sherrod- Brooks Reed
#64 - Randall Cobb - Justin Houston
#96 - Alex Green-Julius Thomas
#131 - Davon House-Richard Sherman

Wasn't really that good of a draft after the top 16 so I give it a C, although it sucks missing out on those needle in the haystacks on defense.

I really thought DJ Williams was going to be what we needed at TE to compliment Finley. I envisioned Finley/Williams to be what Gronk/Hernandez was.

Remember everyone laughing at the Falcons for trading away their "entire draft" for Julio Jones, if the Packers did the same thing for JJ Watt, Patrick Peterson, Robert Quinn, or Von Miller our defense would be so much better today. Today, there is no way anyone doesn't trade that entire draft and Nick Perry for any of those four guys.
