Not even sure I am going to watch the NFL this year. Probably not worth it with guys like Sexy Rexy, Hoyer the Destroyer and J-Foot putting together a Super Team that puts the likes of the Miami Heat to shame. Cleveland officially the most dominant city in sports history now.

Let me just dig these up again....

I know it's just the preseason, but Clowney looks like he is going to live up to the hype. The guy is an unbelievable athlete.

Yeah, glad Clowney will be in the AFC for at least the first few years of his career. Imagining him on the Niners or Seahawks...terrifying.

And this Browns/Redskins game is awful. Preseason and all that but it's not good football. Manziel didn't look good either.

I've done a 180 on Manziel. I hope he gets his ass absolutely destroyed in Cleveland and is out of the league before his next contract.

I hope you're not basing it on the highlight they showed from the last preseason game where he got a TFL on the RB because the Falcons didn't bother blocking him.

Manziel heard what you said.

I still think Manziel has legit talent. I also still think he's got Brandon Jennings' personality.

1. Someone attempted to block him on that play, but the lineman couldn't get to where he needed to be fast enough.
2. There are plenty more impressive highlights than just that one.

Never bought the Manziel hype. Still don't. He's a hot head midget QB lacking the professionalism and hard work to become even a serviceable QB in the pros.

I never thought Manziel would be good and still don't. And it has nothing to do with his behavior either, although that will make it more fun to watch him bust.

I think Bridgewater ends up the best QB from the class.

Manziel is a physical freak with the instincts to make big time plays. Last night he even showed off a couple throws resembling Rodgers, particularly once he rolled out.

But it's tough for me to buy into the guy being the leader of the organization when he acts the way he does. I chalked up his antics up to him being a college kid, but once he became a professional he abandoned that excuse. Being late for practice, the on the field gestures as he's in the middle of a bad performance, the cocaine and the partying. I think you can get away with that for a while if you're playing at a pro-bowl level. But it's hard for me to see success for Manziel given the position he plays and the work that has to be done.

Also he's a twat.

Manziel's accuracy last night was horrific.

I think Bortles is going to be the best QB from this class. I'm not particularly sold on Bridgewater yet. I don't hate Manziel. I think he's going to be intriguing to watch.

I hated this year's QB class. I still wouldn't be surprised if one of the middle/late round QBs ends up being the best of the bunch. I also wouldn't be surprised if none of the QBs turn into decent-to-good starters.

I'll sum up Manziel's future in one statement:

Will make some plays, show flashes of crazy talent, win some games by himself, lose some games himself, never ever win a Super Bowl.

The last part is the only thing that matters. He's Tony Romo 2.0.

I think Bortles turns Jacksonville all the way around to a team you actually have to pay attention to.

So this Texans / JJ Watt thing is going to get interesting

They have Watt signed up for 2 more years, but their owner is ALREADY talking about using the franchise tag on him. Other guys in his draft class have gotten PAID (Peterson 5 / 70 specifically). If he even sniffs free agency (even with the franchise tag), I'd bet dude gets $20 mil / year, maybe even more depending how desperate the team is (SEE - OAKLAND RAIDERS).

Why jerk around the only non QB in the league who actually deserves to be paid like a QB?

That is the best case scenario and I don't think he gets his second contract in Cleveland.

What was Tony Romo's best case scenario?
