Its not like I am a Luck fanboy, Every time he drops back I want the blindside DE to crunch him. My division rival in fantasy has for cheap the next 2 years, I love ARod and hope he crushes every passing record out there and plays to 45. This is just my take from watching about 90-100 NFL games this year.

FWIW, I think Manning's quad injury is not a legitimate excuse. I think he's just lost it. His performance the two games prior to his injury was not up to his standards, either. He's toast.

Of course it's not. He was throwing a bunch of crap last year that somehow wasn't intercepted and a lot of the time was caught. Nobody brought it up because they were going for catches and no interceptions but he declined quite a bit even last year.

Wouldn't sit and give Osweiler a shot. Poor kid.

I think the injury was there for awhile.

He completely lost his ability to throw the ball deep with any accuracy over the past 6 or 7 weeks. Indianapolis just took the next step in the evolution of defending that, finally daring him to throw those passes --- and he couldn't.

Manning's arm has definitely been the issue for the last several years to throw the ball in the playoffs. Quad injury probably is what made him go from OK to a complete turd in the 2nd half of this season.

Cold is rougher the older you get as well, circulation and all. I think hell stick around 1 more to get the yardage record.

I could see the 49ers falling back down to the level of the Singletary-led teams.

49ers are done and a thing of the past. Hopefully the Hawks coaching staff gets picked a part as well. Lynch might not be back, Wilson is due for a 100m contract soon and so on.

Before the season, I thought the Niners were going to be the team that would disappoint the most in the league this year because of the Harbaugh nonsense that was going on. I'm not shocked in the least that happened.

I could be wrong about this, but the DL coach they promoted just seems like an idiot. Hopefully they do fall back to where they were under Singletary.

I feel like 49ers mostly struggled because their entire defense got hurt. The Harbaugh shenanigans didn't hurt, but they still won 9 games. For some reason, they didn't let Kaepernick run nearly enough as well.

I agree, their defense was destroyed by injury. Wasn't Borland their 3rd string LB, and even he ended up on IR? They lost everyone on D.
