Such a freakin' joke to do the ND series at Lambeau and Soldiers Field (DUMP). Camp Randall and Notre Dame stadium are two fantastic college football sites in 2 great college towns. Lambeau is great and all but come on, this was such a dumb decision.

So did they change it to 2021 at Soldier Field and 2022 at Lambeau? I don't know if I've heard any updates on that.

Agreed that Soldier Field is a dump, but couldn't disagree more about Lambeau. That LSU game had more hype and more travelers than I can remember. Nothing but good for a program that needs all the help they can get

2021 was always scheduled for Solder's. No word on when the 2020 game will be made up, college schedules are usually filled a few years in advance. Badgers have 3 non conference games a year and those are filled through 2026 although I'm sure there could be some adjustments made. Lookiong forward to Buffalo coming to Madison in 2023. We also have a home/home with Alabama in 2024 and 2025. Notre Dame of course doesn't have conference games, it looks like they only have 11 games scheduled in 2022 so maybe WI makes a deal with New Mexico State or Illinois State that year and moves Notre Dame in.

Notre Dame in Madison wouldn't have hype? The whole atmosphere around Madison on game days is much better than it is around Lambeau on game days. It's subjective of course but I'd much rather see Notre Dame at Camp Randall.

Granted, I did enjoy the LSU game at Lambeau and think it was a great experience overall, I agree I'd rather they play at Camp Randall. Among other reasons, if you don't live in the area and are travelling, you'd much rather be in Madison than in Green Bay. You can drive it...but detracts a bit from the experience for a variety of reasons.

What also sucks is the game in Chicago is a Badgers "home" game and the game at Lambeau is a Notre Dame "home" game so Badger ticket holders get stuck going to Soldier's.

The LSU game was a blast. I had a great day even though I had no idea where I was and I was partying in a random parking lot rather than Regent Street. I had t been in Lambeau for 15 years, so that was cool enough.

But..... game day in Madison is just special. It doesn’t need novelty to be fun. I’ve been to three games in south bend and you might as well be at Ryan field at NW. snore fest.

Madison will always be Madison. But you had people pilgrimage for the LSU game. And a game at Lambeau ensures the Game Day crew and all that brings. Maybe even a night game. Like I said, it's all the little things that will give more exposure. I'm not comparing the experience, or grading which is better, just which is better for the program. And that's Lambeau. And I'm also not saying that the Madison game couldn't be under the lights with the Game Day crew, but with Lambeau, it's a given

I would guess the neutral site games with LSU and Notre Dame have to do with ticket allotment. Is LSU really going to come up and play a Big Ten team that they don't need to in a hostile environment? Probably not. So offer a "neutral" site game and give them 20,000 tickets to sell. It's still a pro Wisconsin crowd but LSU has incentive to actually schedule the game when they can sell 20,000 tickets too.

I'm guessing the same thing kind of applies to Notre Dame.

So does Jim L. Leave Wisconsin for a HC college position in 2022?

That Army game will be a **** show on regent. In the best possible way. Wisconsin born ex-army guys getting back together to do some Wisconsin/Army level drinking on one of the last nice weekends of the year? Beautiful disaster.

Badgers picked up a transfer DE from Oregon. Needed position. Hope he works out. 4 years of eligibility. Good offer list out of high school.
