Packers/Vikings Lead up
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Hopefully Lazard's good-to-go by Sunday.

Curious to see the defense in this one. I expect the offense will have a slow start but would love to see the defense look as good as advertised.

A lot of red herrings around the league in week 1

Also counting on the d to be decent while the offense has a rusty preseason look.

The Demovsky tweet was definitely click bait, which he is prone to do. I think Bakh and Jenkins sit this week.

I think if the defense isnt dominating spells of the game I will be pretty worried. Lots of preseason talk about just how good this defense is. Rodgers has been gassing it up all offseason. The Vikings are a nice test for week 1.

I'm not super optimistic for this one. If we start Newman/Hansen on the right side of the line I think that could spell disaster for the offense. I also am a believer in teams with new offensive schemes having an advantage early in the year since the defenses can't prep for it. I see Minnesota taking this one
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

My gut says we get blown out on Sunday. Hope I’m wrong

Re: Packers/Vikings Lead up
Unfortunately their glaring weakness, possibly the worst group of cornerbacks in the league, isn't something we can exploit because of our weak WRs.
To win this one, they need to get to Kirk and rattle him. Even with the skill position talent around him, he's prone to not seeing open receivers downfield and settling for shorter throws when he gets the yips. Luckily, their O-Line is still suspect. There's been rhetoric about how their O-Line has improved by getting rid of some awful guys, but their replacements have yet to improve they are significant upgrades.

We won 13 games after the week 1 blowout last year. But a division game is a must win.

*Checks to see if Kirk Cousins is still there*
I could see a loss here sure, but a blow out? Not a chance. It's fun seeing a lot of pundits pick Minnesota as one of their sleeper teams yet again, but for like the 6th season in a row now, a Kirk Cousins led offense isn't striking fear into the hearts of anyone. And it's not like their defense is as talented as it was 3-4 years ago.

Yup.
Zimmer is gone. Barr, while he was declining, is gone. Harrison Smith is now 33. Their edge rushers are coming off neck (Hunter) and back (Z) injuries. And as mentioned, their CBs are not good.
Are they good enough to make the playoffs because of their offense? Sure. But people thinking they might be elite probably don't know how suspect their D has become.

Bahktiari is/was an elite OL but after like 18 months off and not having participated in team drills with the game less than a week away, I almost DON'T want him to "start."

Re: Packers/Vikings Lead up
I can see why people would think our offense will start slow, but honestly I see our front 7 pressuring the hell out of Cousins all game. And while their weapons are really damn good, so is our secondary. We are also going into the game fully healthy on defense.
I can see thinking this will be a close, ugly game. I can't see thinking we will get blown out. This front 7 is legit and Cousins isn't that great under pressure.
