Wisconsin at Northwestern - 10/8/22 - 2:30 - BTN

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Fri Oct 7, 2022 11:22 pm

We're bad but so is Northwestern. We've had plenty of trouble in Evanston. Bucky favored by 10.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Leonhard can't make the players better skill-wise, but he can reduce the penalties (10 last week, 11 vs. WSU) and turnovers (3 in each of those games). He mentioned these types of mistakes in his Monday presser, so I believe he knows these are things he can have an immediate impact on.

Who is this announcer who's trying way too hard? It sounds like an SNL skit.

Mertz plays like this against bad teams all the time, yet he's inevitably awful against nearly every single respectable team he's ever played. Fun watching people fall for it yet again though.

I was more talking about a basically missed extra point to try to cut the deficit to 25 at halftime but sure, this too.

Nothing wrong with that block, QB was moving to make a tackle.
