Barry now has his excuse with Lowry going down.

What coordinator could possibly be expected to replace Dean’s .5 sacks and 6 whole pressures in just 482 snaps this season?

Not great numbers, but we are awesome against runs, right?

I think age has taken some toll on Rodgers, he's 39 that **** is normal. Honestly his deep ball consistency has declined for a while now and that's pretty normal for older QBs. We probably noticed it a little more this year because before Watsons emergence teams really really focused on taking away the shooter stuff.

Meh, I've accepted that we will end up in no man's land. Bad draft position and just missing the playoffs.

As a life long Bucks fan I'm used to that feeling.

No such thing. There are good players and bad players at every draft slot.

So we should trade down and accumulate all of the 6th and 7th round?
The higher you pick, the better your chance to get an excellent player. If you're ambivalent about the players who are available, you trade down to get more picks.

That's a false dichotomy. Going to the Wild Card is still an unlikely thing, and it was more so back when they were 4-8. Rather than having a slight chance of going to the wild card, many people, me included, would rather get the sure thing of more draft capital in the 2023 draft. If we were 4-11, there would only be one team with a worse record. Now we'll pick 14th or whatever.

Hopefully Alexander backs it up

Why not shut Jefferson down then call week 1 a fluke after the game Sunday. Why the hell are you firing up one of the best receivers in the league before the game. What a dumb ass.

Watson and Nixon officially questionable for Sunday. Everyone else good to go.

If Watson isn't good to go then I'm fully expecting to have my eyes bleed watching this offense again. Incoming 20+ targets between Cobb and Lazard. It's gonna be brutal.

Then we should trade up and take Zach Wilson and Baker Mayfield.

Trevor Lawrence looks every bit the franchise player people thought he would be.

If you're a wimp and don't think you can be trusted with such a high pick, or if you don't think any player warrants such a pick, you trade down. In the Wilson draft SF moved up to draft 3rd; They got 3 FRPs and a 3rdRP in return.

Well, this discussion will take nowhere. The fact is that the Packers embraced to make the playoffs because it's our nature, so let's just enjoy the ride, which in the end can be good. We are not so injured like previous years, the "only" player missing is Gary, but everyone else is there somehow.

Obviously that having a better pick would help us long term, it's not guaranteed, but the pool is bigger and you can trade down getting more assets if you are unsure, but having a Top5 pick is not an option anymore and it's not like having a Top15 is that bad. Our last 2 picks in the Top20 were Gary at 12 and Jaire at 18, so maybe we can find another great prospect.
