Kraft on the TE misdirection is going to be a thing of beauty to watch.

MLF used motion and misdirection extremely effectively in 2020 and 2021, creating a lot more easy, short passes with opportunities for a lot of yards after the catch. The regression in 2022 was baffling on all fronts, but I think Rodgers was a big part of the problem. He couldn't roll out of the pocket effectively and he missed a lot of easy throws. He also purportedly didn't like so much motion and misdirection. Suffice to say that I'm on board with the theory that Rodgers wasn't a team player on offense last year, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how everyone responds to his absence. I suspect that it will feel like I have my team back.

Just watching a handful of snippets and it sure seems like there is fresh energy around the team. I think Bakh is the only guy that seemed like he was pissed yet.

We may not have as good of a season as the last couple, but it is going to be new, different and fun not having a Super Bowl or bust expectations this year

We haven't had a TE since Finley that was capable of breaking a tackle or simply running by a defender. I haven't been this hyped to watch our pass catchers since 2011

I have to believe they are going to work with him on refining him across the board. But, that is a big dude that can move. Almost seems like him and Kraft will be the perfect 1-2 punch at the TE position. So excited about the weapons we have this year, between the TEs and Reed it seems our offense will be using the middle of the field in a big way under Love. And with Doubs and Watson (and even Wicks seems very interesting to me) on the outside, it might take a while but this offense could be really special.

That technique has to go back to when he was a kid and it was a cool thing to do - leap for every catch. If so, that's going to take a ton of work to un-learn.

Eh, maybe. But I think there is a difference on the couple of hours a week you play football as a kid, the 15 hours a week you play in college and being an NFL professional where improving your ability to play football is all you do when you are not sleeping. He has facilities, coaches, film, etc. that are going to keep working on his game.

But it is strange, I don't recall seeing a guy do that as much as Musgrave does (based on the little I have watched). Must of been a big Chris Carter fan or something.

Looks like the optimism is warranted. We have seen him get open in seams downfield, but still waiting for more open field YAC.

Already has a rapport with Love. Seems to be a shoo-in as a franchise cornerstone.

He's been about as good as you could expect from a rookie TE. It's wild because I feel like he's been good but under utilized some, yet he's on pace for a top 10 rookie TE season of all time, atleast in terms of receiving yards. Packer fans should be incredibly excited with this one

He also should have three more TDs. Two of them are on Love, one on him. He’s going to be a monster.

Musgrave has bonkers potential and already looks good. His blocking has been the big surprise to me.
