He's fast and not 5'8 210lbs.

Not sure which sites are the most reliable, but almost all of them have Amari a little over 5'9" and Reed a little under 5'11". Comparable 40 times and usage in college. I do realize that a big part of the issue with Amari was that he seemed slower in the NFL than he did in college, so let's hope that doesn't happen with Reed. Maybe Amari bulked up a little too much. I'm just a little shook by the Amari experience I guess.

Well that's better than the numbers I've seen. Nice if true.

I like it. I don't think he's a star WR but I'm hopeful he can be a legitimate contributor. He was really electric two years ago for them. That entire team was a mess this past season, so while I'm not trying to give him a total pass, I'm also not super concerned about it given the expected role.

He at least looks fast on the field. Rogers didn't.

First three draft profile sites I checked had this kid a 4th round pick at best.

Here's Scouts Inc. on their 2nd day mock (second WR after Mingo):

45. Green Bay Packers
Jayden Reed, WR, Michigan State

The Packers saw rookie receiver Christian Watson break out over the second half of the 2022 season and Romeo Doubs flashed last year, but Allen Lazard signed with the Jets, so the Packers need to add depth to their receiving group and give QB Jordan Love multiple targets.

They are really giving Reed #1 huh? Hasn't been worn since Curly Lambeau in 1926. Always assumed it was unofficially retired like #5 for Hornung

Remember when James Jones was listed as an undrafted FA and he was taken in the 3rd round? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

I also remember when they picked Josh Jackson and everyone was stoked because sites had him top 15 in mock. Or that Worthy DLine dude who flamed out.

I was STOKED about Josh Jackson. But that was because every game I watched him in he got a pick 6 and shut down every WR he faced. He was just too slow.

OK so I forgot how much he toasted Wisconsin.

Throwing TDs, catching TDs, running for big gains, and punt returns for TDs. I have talked myself into him now lol.

Maybe Deebo Samuel light?

Gotta say I didn't scout Reed so I've had to do some quick study on him tonight. Seems super fast and a perfect slot complement to Watson/Doubs and likely our PR this year. I don't love the pick as WRs with his athleticism numbers don't usually pan out(although there are some notable exceptions) and the last time they took a not great athlete at WR was Amari.
