Had a mock draft where Latu and Dallas Turner both fell to #25.

Easy fix, traded both seconds and a future 5th for 26 and a future 7th. Drafted both of them. Can never have too many pass rushers.

I just saw that graphic flashed on ESPN. It took 15 seconds to check and see that the information on Centers is hugely wrong. Literally the first info in the graphic and it's bad.

I like the Jordan Magee pick. He's been on my short list of draft crushes this year.

I really want Dejean.

I've only been right about our 1st pick twice. I picked HCD and Love correctly. Hoping Dejean is the 3rd.

Chop Robinson going ahead of Verse and Latu would be interesting and the Packers letting them both go by to pick DeJean would be interesting as well.

So according to the consensus mock, Amarius Mims is the pick at #25. This matches ESPN's draft predictor. Their top picks at #25:

1 - Amarius Mims
2 - Tyler Guyton
3 - Nate Wiggins
4 - Cooper DeJean
5 - Graham Barton

Odds makers have DeJean as the pick at #25.

If the board fell to us like that I would be so happy. 5 of those last 7 picks look like steals. In that situation I'm contacting some team and trying to package my two seconds to and trying to get back up into the first to draft one of the edge rushers, corners, or even Brian Thomas.

Given where the Packers are in the draft I'm hoping one of the top 4 CBs fall to them. Outside of that I'd try to move back 10-15 picks and add another day 2 pick next year. Pick 25 & GBs needs don't really match up that well imo. I'm not really a fan of moving up unless we are only giving up day 3 picks.

Trade ups that Seth Walder wouldn't have done:

Atlanta for Julio Jones
Pittsburgh for Troy Polamalu
Kansas City for Tony Gonzalez
Seahawks for Walter Jones
Tampa Bay for Derrick Brooks
Dallas Cowboys for Emmitt Smith
San Francisco for Jerry Rice
Green Bay for Jaire Alexander
Green Bay for Clay Matthews Jr

Yep. He did the research on this in an article I posted the other day. For trade ups for non QBs the trading down team "won the deal" roughly 2/3 of the time and trading up team "won" about 1/3 of the time. It can work out but more often then not it won't.

I read that. I think he'd have a better argument if the number wasn't around 33% of the time. If trading up only works 10% of the time, then sure, don't do it. 33% gets you in the hall of fame.
