Right. Neither McKinney or Jacobs would have signed if they had known there wouldn't be a proper podium for their interviews.

Out of curiosity, let's assume the Packers could have signed both Curl & Fuller to the deals they got, would you rather have the Curl/Fuller combo or McKinney?

Hard to say but I’ll go out on a limb and say McKinney.

From what I understand of Hafley's defense, he's going to play a significant amount of single high Cover-1. That would lead me to believe that having one really good safety that can cover is more important a combination of Carl and Fuller.

Yeah, I think that's why they paid more for Xavier McKinney than any other team would be willing too.

It will be worth it if his game translates in our system and he stays hungry with that big pay day.

McKinney and Jaire are more than most secondaries have. If Valentine or Johnson can develop and we draft another good secondary player this defense could be legit. Then you just need most of the dline and LBs to stay healthy.

I like single digits on skill players. Backup QBs should get #49 until they earn a cooler number none of the skill guys have already.

It was truly awesome to hear McKinney and Jacobs both say a big reason they came here was because of Jordan Love. That makes my midsection feel warm and tingly.

Can any cap experts tell me how much money we have left to play with after our most recent signing? I know it’s probably not a lot and we need space to make Love a top paid QB, but is there money left for someone like Jerome Baker or Jeremy Chinn?

24ish million- space needed for draft picks and in season signings

Wouldn't worry about needin to leave lots of room for extensions. Just figure for our 40 million in dead money that's comming off the books next year to cover it

5 picks in the top 100 is definitely juicy but adding another proven NFL commodity or 2 at positions of need should 100% still be a priority. Hopefully we’re just waiting for quality players to get desperate.

Honestly, this would be a huge boost to the offense if true. Of all the studs the Packers have at WR, Watson is the freakiest. If we can have him stay healthy for the whole season, watch out.
