Was at Camp Randall last night. Gotta say despite how the season has gone that atmosphere was awesome last night. Been a little while since I had been to game like that there

That's really great to hear. Of course, the one game this year I didn't get to

Yea tbh I was pretty surprised. I'm sure the night game element helped and the fact it was actually a good game.

Night games at CR are always a blast
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

My dad got laid off at hiis job when I was 11ish. We were about 2 weeks from moving to the Omaha area (job accepted in Omaha but still looking here.) He found a job here with a few days left before our move. Needless to say, there was a lot of high fiving and celebrations that we didn't have to move to Nebraska.

I cared about that one probably way more than I should have.

Even though playing in a **** bowl doesn't really matter that much, I did not want to be going into MN with basically none of our skill players left (or playing at 100%) with the punchline of missing a bowl against a garbage schedule in play.

Since the bowl will be meaningless fun, throw all caution to the wind. Let Mordecai run the ball 20 times in this coming game because it's pretty effective. Though I'm not sure the threat of draw/scramble will be there if Pauling/Dike/Green are all out/limited in some capacity.

The Ax, dumb ass Fleck, denying them a bowl game, a win on Saturday would be so sweet.

Denying them a bowl game and ensuring they end the season in a four game tailspin would be absolute perfection.

The only crappy backdoor to this is that technically, Minnesota is supposedly one of the first in line to be a 5-7 bowl team. It's hilarious either way, though.

I had no idea 5-7 could still get you a bowl game.

If there aren't enough 6 win teams to fill bowl games then they go to teams who have 5 wins and use academics as the tiebreaker

As a degenerate gambler and one that loves the absurdity of college football, I do not believe in "there are too many bowl games."

But, yeah...they start giving bids to 5-7 teams if they can't fill all of the slots with 6-6 teams.
