The defense is just embarrassing at this point Getting lit up by Tommy DeVito & Baker Mayfield in b2b weeks is a new low this Joe Barry defense. The last few years the defense has come on strong at the end of the season, this year has been the total opposite. I've never actually thought Joe Barry was going to get fired until today. After today's performance it feels like they don't have a choice unless they somehow manage to win out and make the playoffs

Even if we make the playoffs, probably we would be dismantled by the superior team we will play against and that should fire him too.

On the campbell situation, we were playing better in his absence. He came back last week.

He was not good yesterday but to defend him a bit, with the zone we were in, he frequently was on an island having to choose between covering the rb or going with godwin. Half the time, he was 1 on 1 with godwin. He should not be in these situations and TB constantly exploited it with no adjustments by Barry. So, even though he was awful, it’s really on Barry to put him in better spots or just straight up take him out.

Earlier in the season there were several times where Preston Smith was assigned coverage of a speedy receiver and the Pack got burnt. To be fair to Smith, that was going to be a mis-match of speed from the get go.
