It probably won't actually happen, but I wouldn't be surprised if it actually did...lol.

MLF is probably not wrong that most people don't really know football.

But you also don't need to be a pilot to know you aren't supposed to crash a plane.
Beat writers are thinking MLF is open to anything now since he didn't explicitly state he had Barry's back. Only said he needed to watch the tape and that "now is not the time" when asking about canning him.

Who would take over as interrim DC, if/when Barry gets whacked? It may not be so obvious, if MLF has lost all confidence with that group of assistants

I think he's a complicated evaluation and I doubt we really know if he's the guy or not by the end of this season.

Id love to be in the QB room watching tape and understand why Love simply doesn't set his feet before some throws. Just a bad habit he is having a hard time breaking? The 4th down miss to Reed early was a good example, he's completely clean in the pocket and still throws it falling away.

That Enagbare sack-FF-FR in the first quarter was awesome.

Literally do not give a ****. The only things they should care about is getting rid of a ridiculous liability and hitting on the next defensive coordinator.

I think this game got Barry fired, it just hasn’t happened yet.

I also think a lot of fans have overrated our defensive talent and there’s only so much a different coordinator can do, but even a slightly better/more consistent D can turn a couple games.

I was thinking, Well at least it's his final year, but then I looked up his contract, he's just two years into a five-year deal. What?! Sigh. Dead cap hit is too big to cut him after this season. Maybe after next year.

Not sure what to hope for besides a new DC energizes him.

Love had an outstanding TD. He was bad to average the rest of the day. Left so many completions on the field.

Yeah love wasnt good today. Better to lose out now. Gave us a taste vs Det and KC

Love needs more consistency, yes, and he should be pressing into those habits now. Packers as a whole though seem like they played for real vs Det and KC, just to show people they're that good, but then are kinda tanking the rest of the games.

Firing Barry and promoting one of his minions for the last 3 games doesn't really matter. What matters is finding the right DC for next season. Not another MLF buddy.

The offense was up and down today but I continue to be really optimistic about the young talent on that side of the ball

The defense is just embarrassing at this point Getting lit up by Tommy DeVito & Baker Mayfield in b2b weeks is a new low this Joe Barry defense. The last few years the defense has come on strong at the end of the season, this year has been the total opposite. I've never actually thought Joe Barry was going to get fired until today. After today's performance it feels like they don't have a choice unless they somehow manage to win out and make the playoffs
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Yeah firing Barry would be a symbolic move more than something that would actually make a difference this year. No one involved with this D should be around next year.

Jerry Montgomery would be my guess for an interim DC if they were to pick a current assistant.

Wasn't sure if Gary even played but he had 1 tackle. Last week 1 tackle.

I think Barry is a dead man walking. The more interesting question to me is the Ds performance bad enough that Gute is sent out the door with him? Id be in favor but suspect Murphy won't pull the trigger.

That's weird. He had several pressures that led to sacks for other guys.
