Toure better be cut and Melton sign to roster. Can't lose him to practice squad steal. Toure can go after drop punt and not doing much this entire season.

Same. Or that making the playoffs would also save him

8 caught passes. Watson and Wicks didn't play. Loaded.

Hopefully Reed can go next week.

The D finally stepping up vs a 5th rd rookie QB and Nick Mullens better not be saving anybody's job. But yeah, it wouldn't even surprise me anymore..

Want the Good News/Bad News? I don't think the game saved Barry's job, because I don't think he was ever gonna be fired anyway.

And yet there are still people who want LaFleur fired.

Welp...it happened.

It’s crazy—after 3 straight games of being no-shows, the d-line seemed to win on almost every snap last night. We even collapsed the pocket rushing 3 one time. I don’t get it.

They know the DC will be gone, so the D players are trying to save their jobs now...

I think Barry is back next year but I'll hold out a fools hope that Lafleur grows a spine.

Game was kind of on in the background for us, so just caught up on the recap this morning. Not much to add that hasn't been said, but will say:

Love, in his first season and despite some of his lows, has 3900/30/11 at the conclusion of the old-normal 16 game schedule.

Reed's second TD was so **** good.

From an optics perspective, firing Barry should be the easiest decision an organization could make—no one in the media would blame you, and whoever you hire won’t be any worse. No-risk decision.

But fans should prepare for the hard truth that a lot of these problems are not Barry’s fault. A different coordinator can improve this defense, but only so much imo.

MLF said last night that the defense was good but it was just one game.

Hall and Mullens suck but so do DeVito, Mayfield and Young. And the Queens have Jefferson. So whether it was scheme or players just (finally) stepping up, it was fun to watch the defense.

Win and in next week but also a win (or Queens loss to Detroit, which is likely), means the Rodgers clown show will not come to Lambeau next season.

I think MLF deserves some massive praise for his play calling last night. He had dudes running wide open against one of the better defenses in the NFL. Awesome stuff
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Also props to Luke Butkus, our ragtag OL has been top notch.

It was Wicks who accidentally hit Jones in the face lol

And let's find a way to keep Jones. Next year is the last year of his deal. His cap hit more than doubles from this year from $8.2 million to $17.7 million. Dead cap if released is $12.3 million, Missing 6 games this year sucked but he played all 17 last year.

After a really rough start (which probably wasn’t his fault and which he did fix) LaFleur’s offense has been outstanding.

Just need to get better in the redzone now. But I think that will come with time and player-development.

Somebody (thomchatt3rton) upthread remarked on this: bring Walker as a pass rusher more often. He's fast and he's pretty agile too

Idk that was more a I put the team on my back type of play by reed. F you gumby

Yeah, I may have more invested in my bacon wrapped scallops as my initial interpretation was that they were expecting him to head OB, but after watching the replay that was definitely a solid effort on his part.
Inadequate perception I reckon it's from the Valium
