Obviously Love has been amazing. Way better than anyone could've imagined in his first year as a starter...especially after the start he had. But I'm still concerned about that deep ball. He doesn't drive it enough. Puts way too much air under the ball. Those 2 plays last week that should've been TDs. The TD to Musgrave today was BAD. Nobody within 20 yds of Luke and he literally had to stop his route and basically stand there like he was fielding a punt.

Hopefully this can be corrected.

Part of me thinks that these guys are so wide open that he’s putting so much air under it to make sure it’s 100% catchable. Probably not but maybe.

Tbf on that last one he had a guy in his face on the backpedal

On two of his floaters in the second half when I could actually watch, there was a defender preventing him from stepping into and driving the ball down field.

Defensively get pressure on Purdy. Need to make him uncomfortable. He will throw risky balls under pressure.

Nothing can take away from what the offense did in this game, but the pass rush was a big disappointment considering how much they've invested in it. It will have to be much better against SF. A lot of people were giving the defense way too much credit in the first half when in reality a lot of it was just Dallas shooting themselves in the foot IMO.

Yeah, one of my early keys to the SF game will be the front 7. Have to control the LOS and get some pressure on that dude

The trajectory on these throws is coached. As was said it’s to increase the chance of a completion. The only way he blows the throw to Musgrave is if he throws it on a line and misses him high.

Amazing that he’s still criticized on this board for accuracy when he just had the highest QBR playoff game ever. He’s just doing what he’s coached and doing it perfectly.

This. Hell, in high school football you're coached to underthrow a guy that wide open rather than overthrow him. And again, that's even before getting into the fact that he was a split second away from being plastered by a D-lineman.
