If Houston don't draft (they shouldn't with the first pick) him a team like Minnesota might in the first round. He's far too good to drop any further than 15 - 20. His value along with McCarron's will rise at the combine and you'll see a lot of the riff raff projections at QB like Tajh Boyd, Mittenberger etc filter out.

There are a lot of teams who may be looking for a QB, so if the market for one gets rich then Houston could potentially move down and still remain in the top 5-10 picks. I don't expect an RGIII haul, but value-wise it could be the best move.

But again - it all depends on who is evaluating the talent for the Texans.

Texans must take a QB otherwise it's all pointless. Watt is probably gone at this point anyway.

Look, there are "no brainer" QBs in this draft...there is no RGIII or Luck out there. i think Keenum might not be a fit for Kube's system, but he could be for Sumlin or some other coach. I wouldn't waste a first pick for a quarterback. I would get either an O or D lineman or cornerback.

Trade down if you must, but I want a QB in the 1st round. I nut up and pick a guy to roll with even if that's Manziel.

Ian RapoportVerified account ‏@RapSheet 11 Dec GM believed Carr could go 1. “He’ll blow up at the Combine” RT @NJBeerNerd: @RapSheet they'll take Bridgewater. Carr not surpassing Teddy.

Probably going to be Bridgewater, but I'd love to see the Texans take a look at Manziel.
