What to DO!!

Post#1 » by brewcityboii » Sun Jun 24, 2007 2:52 pm

Capuano should be coming off the DL shortly and I was just considering the fact of who is going to get bumped from the rotation and who is also going to be sent down to the minors. The more and more I think about it I think it is a must for yost to put vargas in the pen and keep Bush pitching. I like Vargas alot but the guy couldn't pitch more than 6 innings if his life depended on it. And Bush is finally starting to come to the form I thought he would be in the pre-season. Now as far as sending someone down to the minors I have no clue who they are going to send I am assuming it is going to be a pitcher but I really have no clue. If anyone knows any further details please let me know.

Gallardo will get 2 more starts, today and next Saturday against the Cubs. We'll see how he does. Bush pitched well last night. Vargas has been decent.

It's a good problem to have.

I'm pretty sure it'll be Vargas.

Right now it should be Suppan but of course that will never happen.

I voted Bush but after reading what you said and remembering about Vargas' pitching I change my vote to him. I think they'll just DFA Elmer Dessens when Capuano gets back. That would make the most sense.

Suppan to some starting pitching craved team. But that'd be a dream.

My dream scenerio would be..

vargas and bush to the bullpen (while sending a sucky reliever down) and then CV and capuano take their spots in the rotation.

Sheets
Cappy
Suppan
Yoga
CV
:droop:

I know they want to keep CV in the bullpen..but I truly believe he is better off as a starter.

Um, the largest free agent signing in this team's history and you want the Brewers to trade him half way through his first season? K then

Yes. We have better starters than him at a fraction of the price. Only problem is he has a full no trade clause the first two years of his deal. :-?

You can never have too much pitching. Vargas could be the best long reliever/emergency starter in baseball. Plus we could get rid of Hurling Spurling.
It's a matter of opinion, and your opinion is wrong.
