The Dolphins have fired offensive line coach Mike Maser, the team confirmed today.
Maser, 61, worked with Dolphins coach Tony Sparano while the two were on the Jaguars staff in 2002. He is the first assistant let go under Sparano's watch.
Sparano, a longtime offensive line coach before assuming his first head coaching job this year, isn't interested in a dual role and is beginning a search for Maser's replacement.
Offensive line is top priority going into next season.
