Unbelievable good or unbelievable bad? Bruney's the one that has really been something IMO. I just love the guy because he'll go right after you with that high 90's cheese with that "I dare you to hit it" look in his eye. Imagine if Farnsworth can actually have that type of mentality...instead of the "maybe I can trick him into swinging at a breaking ball" softishness.
Proctor has taken the ball every freeking day. Farnsworth just needs to locate and learn to 'pitch' instead of just get up there and huck

That's what's scaring the heck out of me. Let Bruney pitch. Why take him out? Just because he threw the ball away to first?

Solid performance by Wang tonight. It wasn't a vintage Wang performance, but he battled through 6 and a 1/3 tough innings. He couldn't locate his sinker for **** today, so he went to his offspeed stuff, namely his slider and changeup, and he had a season high in strikeouts. Very happy with Wang's performance today without his best command.

Nice to see our bats scoring runs again.A-Rod seems to be out of his slump, same goes for cano, and Damon and Abreu are working their way out of their slumps.
Wang pitched great. He got out of trouble the 1st few innings but he did his job. They were stealing bases and taking the extra base.I hope they do that more often.
Great W and maybe this is the turning point for our season.

seriously if Moose gives up more than 4 runs tomorrow he should be considered as a trade chip in a package. Possibly to LAD for Bettemit, Broxton and Ethier
If Mussina is ever traded (which there is about a 1% chance of happening), it'll be when he gets his ERA into the 4 range.
You don't seriously think he is a 5 ERA pitcher, do you?

he looks done w/ his FB add to that the fact any little thing sets him off his game.
22.1 IP, 26 H, 3 HRs allowed 14 ER, he needs to improve w/ the quickness
my thoughts are on needs for this Yankees team
Bettemitt a switch hitter off the bench w/ speed and power and can play small ball too.
Broxton another arm for the BP
Eithier a LHB that would produce better than Abreu long term.
would definitely make me giddy if we get these in return

People were saying Moose was done in 2005, what did he do? He came back and had the best ERA on our staff last year

5.64 ERA
2-2(2 wins vs Texas annd Texas)
Wang had a 5.40 his 3rd start in, do you want to trade him too?

Come on man, Moose has only pitched 22 innings. It's ridiculous to think he is going to keep pitching this bad. As he pitches more innings, he'll get much better.
It's crazy to doubt somebody with the track record of Mussina. He's been consistently good his whole career. It's not going to stop now.
