Carr has the tools. If we took him, I wouldn't necessarily be thrilled but I'd be OK with it. If we're going to reach, it should be for a QB.

Erin Henderson has been cut! I think either CJ Mosley or Mack would be a great addition. I've heard that Mack could play DE or OLB? Could be wry versatile but I think he goes before we can get him. The thing with picking Mosley is what the coaches believe Audie Cole's or even Michael Mauti's potentials are. Id love to see a line backing core of Mauti, Cole, Hodges, Greenway, and Mack. I think we have so many defensive questions that qb can really wait until 3rd or 4th round. Dt, De, Mlb/OLB, Cb, and Ss are all a concern! So many holes to fill...

One of Mack or Barr should be their at our pick, I'd like to get one of them over Mosley.

Spielman said today that he thinks we are going to have a lot of movement in the draft. Maybe move up to have a top pick or move down and get more picks, who knows.

Everybody is ragging on him, but something about Tajh Boyd intrigues me.

This is my first round wish list with our first pick in this exact order.

1. Khalil Mack
2. Johnny Manziel (or any of the top 3 qbs)
3. Dennard
4. Mosley
5. Mike Evans?

What do all of you think? Could also replace Mike Evans with a tackle, maybe. Not a big fan of Barr.

Why would we take a first round tackle?

We most likely wouldn't but it's a need. Jake Mathews or Greg Robinson could be an option.

Loadholt graded out pretty good last year (according to PFF) if that's who you were looking to replace.

Oh, my bad! I was thinking of Charlie Johnson... So a guard. Never mind this tackle nonsense haha.

Anybody interested in taking Robinson and playing him at guard? I'd rather not take a guard that high, but I've heard it suggested.

Very turned off by the idea of drafting him

QB and LB are a need in the first two rounds this year IMO. All the holes we have won't all be filled in one off-season.

Agree actually. After the free agency they've had (and there is still time and cap space to sign at least one more difference maker at either DL or DB in my opinion), I'm even more of the opinion that they should be looking for one of the top 3-4 QBs in the draft, even if they had to trade up. If they got lucky and one of the QBs drops to them at 8, then ideally they would be able to go QB, LB with their first two picks, then get a G to replace Johnson with one of the 3rd rounders.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

I'm more concerned about SS than LB in round 2. I don't know if that's Ward, Bucannon or Loston, but I wouldn't be willing assume any would be available in round 3. Might make an exception for Shazier or Murphy though.

Would be nice to trade back and grab Dennard (or another top CB prospect) and then Shazier and a safety. Qb can be a day 3 or 4.

I think we need a QB in the first 3 rounds, anything below that and we're not showing the position the consideration it needs.

There are a lot of qbs out there and I'm content with Matt Cassel starting. I don't really see any of the qbs, giving us a better chance to succeed. We should draft a guy for behind Cassel and let him develop. Aj McCarron, Arron Murray, and Brett Smith (quarterback from Wyoming...I think that's his name) would be guys Id like to draft and it's possible that we could wait until the 3rd or 4th round. Unless Manziel, Brotles, or Bridgewater fall to the 8 spot or Carr lasts until the second round, it makes sense to not reach.
