Griffen, Floyd, Joseph, and Robinson; that's a good looking front four. Can't wait to see Shariff Floyd play.

HUGE signing. Only 25 years old too. Joseph and Floyd are the Williams Wall 2.0. Hope a CB is next on the list whether it's a FA or through the draft.

Would love to get Verner, and then a cornerback and safety with our second and third round picks. Mack would be the ideal first rounder but I don't think he falls that far. Could get one of the top 3 qbs though.

I think Greenway should be cut, he wont accept a pay cut and he isnt nearly worth 6.5 million. Problem is that there isnt many LB's on the roster.

Agree. Offer the pay cut, but it doesn't seem like it's losing thaaat much if they cut him.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Verner is going to the Bucs on a 4 year 26.5 million deal. Wow, they got him for cheap.

Yep and Gerhart to Jacksonville. Wish Minnesota was just as attractive as Florida. Hopefully we can trade back, acquire an extra pick, and then grab Dennard in draft.

Actually, Verner wouldnt be a great fit here in Zimmer's man coverage scheme. He is prety suited for Tampa's defense, I think he thought he could best succeed there.

Talib signs six year deal with broncos. Our secondary doesn't seem like it's going to be much improved.

There is still Cromartie and Munnerlyn if we want either of them, and the draft

Don't know much about Munnerlyn but Cromartie graded out as one of the worst cornerbacks this year.

I think Toby might have signed in Siberia for a chance to get some carries. No way he was coming back to be AP's backup again.

We really need to land an above average corner in FA. I'll be a little disappointed if we don't.

I meant this more about Verner than anything but yes I agree. Toby deserves the shot and we never really utilized him anyway. Stinky Musgrave.

Right where I am.

Adding those guys would be cool, but they would still need one more CB (the Cromartie fellas are still out there I think), and who knows what the plan is for the linebackers?

I dont see them adding 2 cb's in FA, adding Munnerlyn would probably be enough for this year, unless they use the draft.

Return to Minnesota Vikings
