Today is the day. Anybody got predictions? I'll say Brandon Scherff or if he's not there, we'll trade down.

Scherff
Parker
Peters
In that order.
Here is my dream draft scenario.
With the 11th pick we grab Scherff.
At 24 we trade AP to the Cardinals for their first rounder. With the 24th we take Marcus Peters (if he falls)
Second round Shaq Thompson, and third round best running back. BPA after.
I do believe AP gets traded

Paul Allen predicted Trae Waynes. Considering Paul Allen predicted Anthony Barr last year, you have to consider the possibility that he has a legitimate inside source.

True, but from everything I've read and based what Iceness said it is smokescreen. I really don't want Trae, even though I am optimistic Zimmer can maximize his potential.

La'el Collins is dropping off draft boards because of a murder investigation. It seems he is innocent as he is currently not a suspect. If we could draft Peters at 11 and then trade AP to the Cards and draft Collins, that would fill two huge holes.

scherff went higher than i would have thought

i was big on waynes a few weeks ago but people have soured on him so i don't know anymore, my opinion on these things (players i know nothing about) often go with the changes in the wind

We're on the clock. Parker or Waynes I would guess.

so no trading back, i'm thinking we might be done for the night

rick said he was trading out of 11 so going by the rule of rick doing the opposite of what he says, we're done. only thing left would be an adrian trade

I like the measurables, I like drafting a corner, I don't like that Viking fan draftniks seem to hate the pick.

The draft set up well for trading Peterson if we want, with Gordon and Gurley going early.

Zimmer said he likes high character guys, so Trae and not Peters. I trust Zimmer can work his magic, but I'm not a fan of the pick.

i'm glad we didn't trade him, because i think he's going to be good this year and he might as well be on our team

and because i want to see how this plays out at this point (even though i hate having distractions like this)

Worst part is we need a guard, and there is only one big name left who is being questioned about a murder. I hope we can get either Collins (LSU, if he is innocent) or Kendrick's ILB from UCLA
