And there’s a kicker, Daniel Carlson from Auburn.

this was a weird draft, i don't know how to feel about it

maybe i'm just having trouble wrapping my head around us having a really solid team without a lot of holes. and the holes we do have we didn't really bother to address anyway. this was all depth/future development picks

ike would be alright, if we go for an iowa lineman i'd favor sean welsh - he was better than ike in college and a true guard (ike was a tackle)

I was surprised to... it was hard to anticipate positions they were going for.

It looks like a couple of the UFA we signed were guys mentioned here, Jake Weineke and Holton Hill.

It's also kind of interesting that it appears that multiple have 2 of our UDFA's ranked higher than everyone we took after round 2. Holton Hill and Hercules Mata'afa were rated as 3rd-4th round picks by many.

hercules mata'afa has a great name (and also a lot to live up to with it)

that's interesting on the ranking, wonder what led to the fall? hopefully not mo hurst-type injury concerns

Hill smokes a lot of pot. Hercules has linebacker sized body but apparently spent most of his time lining up at defensive tackle.
