See that? a forward check down pass beyond the line of scrimmage. This is a massive change. Just massive for this offense.

Not a breather. That was a reminder about two handing it. At least he came back out to this drive again. Agree, why not Mattison. Because Vikings that's why.

Dude is special. Love that we are getting him involved in the passing game, the dude can take a 3 yard check down and break it for 20 with ease.

Yes. What's wrong with being up by 24 before halftime? Nothing at all. Except that Zimmer would have to hear everyone talking about positive offense for the next week maybe. He might not care for that.

It has made a big difference to toss those to him directly over the middle after the linebackers either rush in or drop back. Just about all these in earlier games were left or right at the line of scrimmage or behind. The other receivers further downfield on routes or fake routes both are also opening up that middle. All things they were refusing to do before.

Cousins season high in passing before today was 233 yards. In the 1st half of this game, 278 yards. The opened up pass game also makes the running game better as well, 93 yards on over 5 yards an attempt.

Shocking how much better an offense can look when you actually mix up the offense and trust your QB. I get the Giants aren't a good defense, but still Im hoping the coaching staff looks at this and realize they actually have the talent to throw the ball. This offense doesn't need to be the 2000 Ravens.

It wont bite us against a team like NY, but ya against legit teams you cant leave this many good possessions without a TD.

100%. The problem is we've seen this type of all cylinders clicking before and what comes next is alway confounding. The only question is how many games before they send it all sideways again? All it will take is one screwup in the passing game, I swear. Even though we already saw one screwup in the running game and all it meant was a couple play doghouse for Cook and then Zimmer moved on. It won't be the same for Cousins or a receiver if/when it happens. Never has been.

I'll enjoy this as long as they keep the mix going. But who knows, maybe the loud and public actions of Diggs/Thielen this past week made them reassess themselves. Clearly the offense is doing many things they were not until now.

Please don't ask, they will likely try something like that.

They need to just keep doing what they've been doing. Mix Rudolph into that. Or mix him into a endzone play as a target.

Yup all it takes is 1 pick or back 2 back 3 and outs when we passed it a couple times and Zimmer will fall back to his run it 2/3 time mindset. Its just so frustrating to see what this offense can be. Also look what happens when you keep the defense guessing on if its a pass or run, the defensive line doesn't get to pin its ears back and our O line doesn't look like high schoolers trying to play in the NFL.

The most frustrating part in all of this is knowing we have the talent in the skill positions and that we dont use it. It would be one thing if Zimmer was doing this and we had no skill talent, I could get that. But we actually have talent and go out of our way not to use it.

The story behind their many playoff exits in a nutshell.

Not great timing on that penalty. Don't want this team staying close to the end. Shurmur probably knows how to get Zimmer to flip out.

On a side note, I can see why the Giants took Jones where they did. You can see the potential with this kid.

I think so. Still a rook but he's already pretty good.
