According to Ian Rappaport, the three finalists are Raheem Morris, Demeco Ryans, and Kevin O'Connell. Morris is only one with any previous head coaching experience, his overall record wasn't great but he did go 10-6 one year with Bucs. I'd probably rather go with one of the other two guys.
No mention of Harbaugh though.

It sounds like if we offer Harbaugh the job, he's going to take it. He interviews today, so I would assume our decision is within the next day or two.

graham's interview yesterday was nine hours! that's excessive. what do you talk about that whole time?

well that was much ado about nothing

was the whole thing just a distraction to lower expectations for whoever the new person actually is? (sounds like o'connell but why should i believe the rumors now?)

I'm curious to what happened with Harbaugh, whether the Vikings picked O'Connell over him or Harbaugh heard something he didn't like and took himself out of the running.
O'Connell is interesting in that he's risen through the coaching ranks so fast although he flamed out pretty hard as a QB. He's only 36 years old.

I’m sure in some fashion. It’s just that he was a 3rd round pick who was cut after 1 season. Maybe he was actually overdrafted based on his brain?

Sounds like Ed Donatell will be our new defensive coordinator, I don't know much about him except he's been around a while. I think he was the Broncos defensive coordinator last year.

so o'connell is signing off (if not choosing) on these decisions? i suppose this is why teams in the super bowl don't like getting their staff poached. tough to split focus

I'm pretty excited for this upcoming offseason to see if we can assemble a decent squad and coaching staff. I wonder if we keep Captain Kirk or do we look to trade him and acquire a bridge QB
