Still more than a week away, but it's coming up. Packers week 1!

so we didn't play any starters at all during the preseason. i appreciate the injury avoidance but not sure about knocking the rust off against the packers. maybe it will be fine

I kind of feel like we're going to be the same. I don't know, maybe I just don't want to get my hopes up. I really just don't know enough about the coaching staff to be confident in them.

Jordan Hicks looks like a massive liability in the pass game.

It seemed strangely easy. The outcome was never in doubt.

Great game, first time in a long time I enjoyed watching a Vikings game.

My two biggest worries with this team at the moment

1. Ed Ingram. He had a very very rough day. Getting pressure right up the middle on Kirk is the best way to kill this offense.

2. Jordan Hicks. He was a flat out liability in coverage today. If he continues to be this bad in coverage, I’m not sure he will be a guy we can count on playing a big amount of snaps.

But ya either than that, loved what I saw. Great to have a coach that actually knows how to use these offensive weapons. Also great to see Harrison and Kendricks still haven’t lost a step yet. They still look like their normal selves out there.

that's a good point, i was oddly relaxed for most of it - which is unusual for the vikings games

packers pass d was out of sorts and maybe the offensive scheme had something to do with this but it was remarkably easy to get jefferson the ball. he's the guy for the defense to focus on and he was wide open the whole game

maybe rush defense as well, about the only thing the packers could do was run the ball

well that stunk

defense didn't seem interested in guarding anybody. easy pitch and catch all game.
offense was out of sorts, drops, deflections, not a lot of dalvin, and couldn't capitalize on great opportunities in the second half to get back into the game

defense needs work, its way too easy to move the ball on us at times

and they need to do something to get jj the ball, he's just been the decoy for two weeks

so i went for a walk and it is really windy in minneapolis today, mostly from the west, northwest. which i believe is the side of the stadium those giant doors are on. with them being open i can definitely believe they had an impact on those kicks

need to get greg in there on windy days to practice compensating for that

We didn’t necessarily need to be kicking 56 yard field goals in those situations either.
