Yeah, the line played well without Cleveland the last couple weeks, so I’m assuming it was some combination of having a quality replacement and not being confident in resigning him. Wish they could have gotten a little higher pick though.

So is Dobbs going to be the starter going forward now? I think it still probably makes more sense to play Hall if he’s healthy just to see what we have.

what a wild game, great job by the team not giving up and dobbs coming and doing a heck of a job

i've flip flopped about five times already this year on whether to tank or compete, and i'm now back in the compete camp. let's try and sneak into the playoffs and see what happens (i'll probably change my mind again). we've already won five games, and if we didn't lose a game like this we're probably too good to lose out. so we're not getting a good first round pick anyway, might as well go for it

how long are people generally out for concussions?

i wouldn't mind seeing more hall once he can come back. dobbs is exciting (in good and bad ways)

maybe do it by committee, alternate games/halves/drives whatever

I think normally you would expect Hall to be out next week and back after that. I suppose in that case, Dobbs starts next week against the Saints and if he plays well and we win , he’ll keep starting. If he doesn’t play well, maybe we go back to Hall.

another win, closer than you'd like. the offense didn't get going in the second half

first half was great though, dobbs is looking really good. hockenson had a huge game, but he's going to need to spend the week in an ice bath

Kind of frustrating how we couldn’t finish them off, but it’s a 5 game winning streak now. Pretty amazing without Jefferson and Cousins.

Hall was inactive this last week too, so not healthy yet. It probably depends on how Dobbs looks whether he gets another chance. Dobbs kind of petered out at the end of this last game.

well that was far from the prettiest game. dobbs is throwing a lot of picks (although 3 of last night's were tipped)

once he gets healthy, at what point do you look at hall? we're still in the playoff picture because there are only four good teams in the nfc it seems

I didn't get to see the game, but it starting to seem like if teams take Dobbs ability to scramble, he's going to struggle. I'd seriously consider starting Hall after the bye.

it has occurred to me that with cousins injured, we have drifted back into the trackless desert this franchise has spent way too much time in - the endless carousel of journeyman quarterbacks. we'll probably rotate back and forth between dobbs and hall the rest of the year

i'm worried about next year (and subsequent years) if we don't bring kirk back. yeah we'll try and draft someone but who knows if they'll hit. and after a stable handful of years with slightly above average qb play we'll be back to where we usually are - less than that.

I missed the game again last week, but it seems like the offense continues to be brutal. Hopefully Mullens is an upgrade, but who knows.

caught some kfan this afternoon, how worried do we need to be about flores leaving for another job after this year? we haven't talked about it enough but the defensive turnaround has been remarkable
