Congratulations on the Patriots fan's win. I'm not a football fan, but I know what having your team win the whole thing feels like. Didn't watch the game, but that's not important. Exciting game I heard. Caught the sportcenter highlights this morning.

I stayed away purposely.....I jinx them when I watch the game...But I'm really happy that they won it one more time before Brady retires.....

My buddy and I should get co-MVP's for the game. We switched seats in the third quarter and after that the Pats played much better.

Whatever works works my man!... you do what you can...you know?

I watched the highlight reels a few times post game....That was an awesome ending!.....And what Brady said post game about it taking the maximum effort from the first to the last man on the team was so right....

Young Butler made the difference last night......He was beaten on that miracle catch and things looked bad.... but he never gave up and stepped in there to snatch that victory away from defeat with the biggest play of his life....that few seconds had to seem like an eternity to those players?

You have to wonder what bit of crazyness prompted that goal line pass call when you had the best running back in the league primed and ready to run it in?.....But that was what I remember about Pete Carroll's tenure here as Patriot coach....He never was quite the conventional type....And that willingness to stray away from the obvious bit him in the ass last night....

I feel sorry for Seattle fans...That was a tough way to lose....especially after that amazing catch....

But that's the "The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat" that makes sports what it is to all of us....

Whoa, this is the youngest team to ever win a Super Bowl (taking that title away from last season's Seahawks).

Favorite championship in all the titles I've been fortunate to see my teams win. Took the first couple of Super Bowls for granted because that's when I first started watching as a kid. Going to treasure this one.

Congratulations to devoted Patriots fans and your magnificent team!
And thanks to all posters on Celtics board who were 'providing hype' in last weeks preceding Super Bowl - your enthusiasm grabbed my attention and made me watch this wonderful, intense game. What a great night it was!

What an amazing finish. All I kept saying was "Oh **** here we go again" after that circus catch towards the end. Butler will never again have to buy a drink in Boston. Ever. Brady has solidified his legacy as the greatest QB in NFL history. What a game.. One that Patriot and Seahawk fans will never forget.

Tom Brady is the greatest of all time. His teams are 4-2 in Superbowls but as quarterback his job is to put team in position to win. In both Super Bowl losses, he led a drive to give his team the lead in 4th quarter only to lose in last 2 min. If you include 2006 loss to Colts which was true Super Bowl that year, he led team to go ahead field goal with 3 min. to go only to see defense blow it by giving up TD with 1 min to play. You can include 2001 and 2015 Super Bowls where he was near perfect in engineering game winning drives against elite defenses (LA was #3 that year and Seattle #1 and arguably best ever) in final minutes as well.

I don't think it is fair to count titles as way of determining best ever because it is the ultimate team game. But Brady has been the guy in 6 (I would include 2006 and say 7) Super Bowls where he did his job and put his team in position to win each time. THe fact that he doesn't have 7 Super Bowl wins has more to do with the defense not matching his ability to seal the deal.

That win felt so good I don't know if I'll ever experience a more satisfying win that that in my lifetime. And big props to Pierce for continuing to support Boston teams and fans. That guy is the man.

That definitely is my favorite championship win out of all of them. Crazy because the Celtics are my favorite team. I didn't think it could feel better than '08. I think this did. This was just special. I will never forget the moments leading up to that interception. It felt like a sea-change was occurred in my life after the tempest that is Malcom Butler shattered Lockette. Good years are ahead. This is a good omen for NE sports fans imo.
