Just to be the first to point it out, the last time we won our third super bowl in four years, we beat the Eagles.

I haven't been a big fan of the Eagles front office over the years, the way they handled the TO saga, they way they've handled some of their vets, the way they scrapped Chip Kelly just as he was putting his final pieces in place...gave him two years to implement a complex system. I've always felt like they won't win a Super Bowl until their ownership changes.

It will be close vs the Eagles and probably come down to the final minute or so. If for no other reason than the Pats can't win or lose a Super Bowl any other way!

I hope the Pats win because of Bill being so kind and gift wrapping my team with our quarterback of the future.

Remember that thread a few weeks ago about Brady/Kraft/Belicheck fighting and how the Pats dynasty was all over. Good times. LOL

Win or loss I won't be wearing my Patriots gear for months after the game, lol.

Easy win ? You are a joke

Good game guy, what's your thoughts on Bortles? I still wouldn't hand him a big contract. Think I'd still go for Alex Smith if he's available. I give Bortles a ton of credit for the way he played last two weeks (and the play calling was perfect) but, I'm not convinced it's not Flacco again. Hope your team sticks around in the mix.

Well, Bortles has been very good all year. For those who have watch the Jaguars since 3 years, he has improved a lot this season. He will never be a Franchise QB, but if he can still improve (he is only 25 years old) and then we keep this crazy defense, then who knows what can happens.

His contract is guaranteed March 14 if he is still on the roster....one year / $19 million. It's going to be a really tough decision, but I have faith in Coughlin.
Alex Smith could be an option, same with Cousins but he will ask for too much IMO.

I hope it's not just a one and done year. Next season we will have Allen Robinson back if he re-sign with us. People forget that this team is very young and has absolutely no Playoffs experience. Same with the coaching staff.

The Pats outcoached the Jags in the second half. Some Jags fans and fans from others teams are talking about the refs because the Pats has no penalties at all in the game....IMO, the Jags have shoot themselves in the foot.
On offense, Hackett's playcalling was way too conservative. They wanted to keep Brady on the bench by running the clock, but we were not able to run like we used to do with Fournette.
Defense was not that good to be honest. Even against the Steelers, our defense was not very good.

I was kinda joking.

However, I've seen Brady make like 20 comebacks, a few live at Gillete. I didn't doubt for a second that it was going to be a win. Did you?

Before the start of the season, if you had told me that the Jags would be playing the Pats in the AFC championship and would have lost by 4 points.... I would have called you CRAZY !!! Our record was 3-13 last season....
I did not expect a win over the Pats, but as a fan, you HAVE to believe in a miracle. Brady is just too good. But we were close

You guys were incredible. Cheers. One **** hell of a game.

If the Eagles win the city will riot, lol. Wild game so far.

Yep, crazy game. I hope the Pats will win it all, I'm not really a fan of Philly. Actually, I would not be surprised if it ends up by a blowout.

Possibly. He is a bit brittle. Also, once teams adjust to him in that offense we shall see what happens. There is only one TB12 and dozens of Carr’s and Prescotts. Good but not great. There is a reason for that.

I'm happy we're playing you guys. I don't think I could've dealt with another soft midwest-like fanbase.

About it being unprecedented didnt the 49ers from 1982-1995 also win 5 Superbowls.

As a Seahawk fan I am rooting for the Eagles , but Brady is the GOAT(only in NFL not if you include the NBA).

I agree even if the Pats win Brady is still 5 championships and a few MVPs behind the real GOAT Bill Russell.

I think with a championship here Brady has passed everyone else on the planet not named Bill Russell though and that's pretty impressive.

Michael Jordan is the GOAT in my opinion.

1960s had many dynasties in so many sports and their wasnt much competition then.

After that "story" "broke", one of my buddies (a Vikes fan) was crowing non-stop for days about how our dynasty was "done".

Just kept telling him, "Well, you better hope you're right."
