It's good enough. We won't lose tommorow though. Why you ask?

-AJ Pierzynski has never played in a losing Opening Day game (6-0 overall; 2-0 with the Sox)

I predict Thome hits a solo home run.

Just wondering, what's up with Iguchi batting 7th this year? I remember they tried that little experiment with Uribe batting 2nd last year in ST, but that didn't work out so well.

Don't worry, I come in peace.

They know he has more power and they want to utilize it. They know he can't do it out of the 2 spot because of the way Ozzie wants his #2 player to hit(bunt, sacrifices, etc).

And dammit, this season is going to be reaaaaaaal long.

Well, maybe the warm weather will turn the starting pitching around, but right now it's looking bad. Sisco looked good.

Well usually it's the other way around. Cold weather is supposed to give the advantage to the pitchers, but I guess not. 88 wins still is my prediction for the Sox this year.

It is really odd watching flurries fall during a baseball game.
