Oh, those 2nds are guaranteed to convey. They’re just a “lesser of” two different second round picks each year. Indy keeps the better one and NY gets the worse picks.

And I think that wasn’t to do right by Obi. That was just his market value? Heading into the last year of a rookie deal, showed flaws, relatively highly paid as a lotto pick, etc. :dontknow: Chris Duarte went for a little better value of 2 2nds, but he had 2 years left on his rookie contract.

One of the commenters earlier in the playoffs said that the Knicks are the first team ever to win a playoff game without playing a lottery pick. idk if that's true,.. but with Randall out and Burks not playing,.. they did win a game without a lottery pick.

With Anunoby out the Pacers have to find a way to take advantage of Achiuwa with Siakam.

Nesmith has to show up defensively on Josh Hart who’s been killing the Pacers.

Someone also has to shadow DiVencenzo so he doesn’t get open looks at 3’s which he routinely knocks down.

Brunson will get his as most stars do playing against the Pacers all season long.

Turner has to keep Hartenstein from making so many plays.

Overall Pacers have to win the boards and play much better defense plus win the 50 -50 situations.

Lucky to lead the first half but really should be beating Knicks by double digits with all their injuries.

This shows that Knicks players are better than the Pacers and the Pacers need more talented players next season besides Benn coming back.

Or that Pacers defense is still lacking and the Pacers are playing sloppy.

It's certainly closer than we hoped. Let's hope they wear down.

This is definitely helping. Problem is you defend 1 Knick and another guy steps up to keep them in it.

Hartenstein, Hart, and Achiuwa are somewhat quiet but DiVencenzo and Burks lighting it up.

Until the final score, I'd forgotten my formula was first to 110 and Nembhard made it 111.

Didn’t deserve to win but at least they pulled it out. Knicks shouldn’t have been as close but Pacers couldn’t put them away in the first 3 quarters.

Have to play better next game.

There were bright spots like Nesmith keeping Brunson bothered and Pacers winning rebounding battle 42-41.

Knicks won the Shooting percentage which is not good.

I think the win was deserved but agree Sunday won't be a walk over

Have we heard anything about Haliburton's injury from game three? He was gimping around a bit, but nothing was said about it.

He said he was hurting but expected to play Sunday. The star has a story from last night but I don't see anything new today.

I spent the night in Lafayette cause I have a friend at Purdue, about to drive down to Indy from here.

Plenty of interesting places to eat off 65 on Lafayette Road or 38th Street.
