Looking good so far, but the game is far from over.

15 isn't enough to be safe. First to 120.

Great first half leading 70-55. 76% from the field and 67% from 3. Winning rebounding battle 15-10. Fouls in favor of Knicks 12-6.

Pacers truly playing aggressive and some Knicks look worn down and injured compared to say Burks. Depth has definitely given our starters more rest and kept them from having to push beyond their bodies limits game after game.

Great resilience by the Pacers taking a challenge from the Knicks and maintaining their lead.

Need a huge finish. Can’t let it get close enough to where the refs can affect the game.

Great team win with all of the starters with 17 or more points and more impressively all starters with 4 or more rebounds. Starters 41 of 61 from the field and 13 of 22 from 3. Respectively 67% and 59% shooting.

Individually Nesmith goes 8 for 8 from the field.

The bench shot 12 of 18 for 67% also and 0-2 from 3.

Today the bench players ended up giving our starters rest and trying to not let the Knicks get the big lead under 10.

TJ led the bench with 12 points 7 assists and I Jax 3-3 for 9 points.

Sheppard with 5 rebounds and 3 assists.

Toppin 3 rebounds and 4 assists.

I picked the Pacers in 6 knowing they could win the series, but was not certain they would have the grit, determination, and urgency as a very young less experienced team to rise to the challenge. A well deserved series win.

What a unbelievable game.

Nesmith absolutely showed up. His shot kinda went away this series, all the guarding he was doing on Brunson really took a toll on his shooting, he's usually been good for like 2-3 threes a game and that went away. But today 8-8 and 2-2 from 3PT. Incredible.

Also, massive shoutout to Nembhard. He gets a bad from this fan base (atleast on my twitter feed) but it seemed like every time this team got in trouble, he made a jumper, a floater or some lay up. Such a clutch player.

Indiana's 67.1 FG% is the highest percentage in a playoff game in NBA history

On the other hand there is this:

I rarely watch any pre game shows including the Pacer’s own Bally show. I don’t respect 75% of the tv analysts in sports so I don’t need to hear their bias. If the bias is not there I can watch shows. The NFL is better at covering their sport than the NBA.

I’m all about watching the game. I do like coverage of the Pacers or Colts from selected local media but not all journalists.

Everybody keeps saying how hard it is to recreate the Inside the NBA but what ESPN does is a joke. They dont even put an effort into their shows. Im happy this is going viral (seen it on multiple websites like the athletic and others) that its a joke what espn did.

NBA has new NBA rights tv deal soon, we will probably lose inside the NBA and who knows how Amazon and NBC will broadcast on their channels, because ESPN is a lost cause. They just dont care anymore.

The problem is that ESPN has crews that could run circles around this one in terms of focusing on the play and X’s and O’s But ESPN has learned that they can grow to huge heights with the tmz style of shows rather than just focusing on straight news. Which we’ve seen across all of cable news and sports in the last 20+ years.

In my mind, there is one great difference between the TNT crew and all the others. The talking heads on the other networks think it is all about them. Yes, the TNT guys will give their opinions and such, but in the end they know it is about the game, and most importantly just making it fun. Nobody has more fun than the TNT crew and that carries over to the viewers.

I have one rule I follow when watching the news, regardless of which channel I'm viewing. When there is a panel of "experts" or basically paid "contributors", I change the channel.

I want news. With "panel shows" you are only getting somewhat pre-scripted opinions. You aren't getting news. I think that is true regardless of the channel.

Probably a good and simple idea.

And generally, a show should only have one “long” host editorial. If the show is just the host constantly monologuing without reading news, it’s a personality show, not news.

Absolutely correct.
