Didn't do much for us, but he was playing really well last season. Ouch.

Not great news for Brandon. I think GS is a very good spot for him and was hoping he'd progress a lot more this season. I wish him a solid recovery.

Well, what are/could they possibly give us to release Shaw from his coaching responsibilities? They've given up every 1st round pick they possibly could in trades. Jodie Meeks? Earl Clark? Devin Ebanks?

Phil Jackson to return to Lakers bench, per Marc Spears from Yahoo Sports.

First game on Friday.

Can't say I'm surprised, I still think it was too early in the season to can Mike Brown though.

I'm sure Nash was praying for pringles.

Lakers hired D'Antoni because they felt tthe triangle offense was too similar to the Princeton offense and too difficult to learn on the fly.

NYK about to lose their first game of the season (to Memphis) as they're down by 13 late in the 4th quarter. It shouldn't even have been that close. The Pacers travel to New York for a Sunday showdown.

Knicks will be hungry to recover from this loss as Pacers will look to build on the win. Should be a real good game brewing...

We looked like a different team last night. If that't the real us the Knick game could be a good test.

We played decent against the Knicks, albeit we didn't pull out the win.

Pacers are going to send Orlando Johnson and Miles Plumlee down to the D-League. Hey, at least they're going to get minutes.

Still boggles my mind why people actually were hinting we should sign him. It wasn't worth the risk. Even if he remained healthy and scoring 15ppg, a bad fall in a mid-February game could of ended his career, too. Just way too much risk.

Can't blame Roy for not wanting to quit his dream of a NBA career, but you can blame the people signing his checks.

Not sure about that. A fight is a fight.

How about the Spurs? Benching Tim Duncan, Manu, Tony Parker and Danny Green vs. the Heat? On national tv.

Fair game or BS move?

Stern promising sanctions against the Spurs... http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/22 ... es_To_Fans

I hope it's more then just a fine. A national tv ban? Something crazy would be cool then the norm of a fine...

I think Stern is being a ridiculous greedy ***. There is absolutely no reason to punish a team for being smart about managing their players. If the Spurs can beat the Heat starless and with 9 players, they should damn well be able to. I swear, the NBA is starting to resemble more and more of a dictatorship like in the NCAA, picking on teams and schools for being smart and competitive.
